Developer aldostools adds several new features to the popular webMAN MOD plugin. Now in this fork of deank's original plugin you have the option to add a third nethost server for network content using ps3netsrv. Also an impressive new features can be useful if you have content that you may want to hide from your younger kids or even other people in your household. With the new "Extended Content Profiles" feature you can easily hide various Mature [break]..[/break] Games or Adult content, Movies. or even setup a Kid safe profile for all your various media that webMAN can handle. This is done by adding the content in various folder and adding "_1" , "_2" extensions on your media folders. Then the developer took it a step farther and assigned some XMB button combo so you can easily switch these profiles on the fly. View all the details in webMAN MOD v1.33.07 of this update and how this new feature is used.

Here is more-less just a Proof of Concept (POC) that the Atari Jaguar can run on the PlayStation 3 Console. Well kind of,,.... Can this improve and will it improve, i have no idea. ? This emulator has speed & sound issues. Developer doobz sent me a compiled core of "Virtual Jaguar" . Which is a libretro Core for RetroArch, from the official code repository, this core is seen on other platforms that RetroArch runs on, but not the PS3. Could be for good reason or it may not of had attention yet for the PS3 from the official developers of the RetroArch/libretro team..[break],,[/break]

Do not get all excited yet. You must be hammered (if your are of age of course) to get really any enjoyment out of this due to the speed in most games, but it does shows perhaps some promise and maybe and just maybe something to look forward in the future. Consider this a POC and you have been warned that there are many issues. For your convenience i have created a standalone version of RetroArch for this POC Core. I personally have not tested many games yet but if you find one that run better then the rest be sure to tell us in the comments below.

Codelion, aka BBalling1, has released a video showing the PS Vita controlling a cube on his PC via its gyroscope. Some are refering to this as an native hack but since most of the functionality of this is running PC side I'm not sure that such a bold claim can be made. Yes... there is some exploit in play. What do you guys think?

Here is some nice advancements in the PS3 Community that Developer haxxxen (aka tpryor) has shared. The talented developer has converted PRX Loader to psl1ght and with that, the function of the plugin loader can be added to Estwald's newcore. Which then can give the ability for auto-booting plugin's on start-up with Standard CFW's without the use of a Cobra CFW. This is still a bit of a WIP but has advanced very well from says the developer. Checkout some of the quotes provided by the developer below.

Note: This is considered a TEST BUILD and there several issues have been outlined by the developer for REBUG 4.21/4.46, that will be addressed soon.

To Celebrate the PlayStation's 20 Year Anniversary, Sony has made the PlayStation 1 inspired PS4 Console. Well, EA has also decided to do something special for the 20 Year Anniversary. This weekend only, courtesy of Electronic Arts, the games Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PS Vita), Mirror's Edge (PS3) and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare (PS4) are free in the PS Store. I just went on the the PS Store to see for myself and sure enough, all three games are free. There was no banner or anything announcing the promotion. I just had to search individually for each game and "purchase" them. Hurry, as the offer is only available until 12:00 AM PST, December 8, 2014.
