I wanted to introduce to the scene a project I (HWNJ) have been working on with Chelsea_Fantasy for a long of time ago. XtremeEliteBoot was a private project that we only shared with a small circle of people in Cuba back in 2012. It is intended to be a "ready to use", "all-in-one", "noob-proof" alternative to "FreeMcBoot". Also, XEB featured some exclusive features that no PS2 homebrew was able to provide until the time of writing this (2017-11-15).
We want to bring XEB back and finally publish it on the web in the shape of a new and upgraded version of the original XEB. This new version will be named XEB+. We think we can release it around 2018/01 or 2018/02. We already coded the new interface and functions (in other words, everything running on the PS2 side), the only thing left to code are the companion PC tools for the XEB+ exclusive features and game launchers. For you getting an idea of what that companion apps are, please check: http://www.ps2-home.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=987 and http://web.archive.org/web/20150623221419/http://www.scenespain.net/foro/ps2/ps2sx-un-gui-para-ps2psxe-(hilo-oficial)/
USB Installer 3.x and PS2SX were created as companion apps for the original XEB. The new XEB+ will have updated versions of USB Installer and PS2SX among with some new apps like PSXtreme (for POPS).

We need translators:
We are trying to make XEB+, easy to use for every user. One of the most biggest milestones is the languages.
Our native language it's Spanish, and as you can read, or English it's not the best. We are actually looking for translators. We have plans of releasing XEB+ on at least "Spanish" and "English", but we also have our doors opens for any other translations. If you can translate from "Spanish" or "English" to any other language, please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected]
I will like to have at least two translator for each language if possible, so do not worry for beign the second or the third one to write. I always believe on team work and hope you can all work together to make a proper translation.
If you are Cuban and want to contact me please check here.
As I said before. XtremeEliteBoot+ will be released on the first months of 2018.
UPDATE: End of June 2018 - For sure!
I have more than 3 translators to translate to Fre, Pt-Pt, Pt-Br, Ita, Jpn on each language (of course Eng and Spa are already covered).
I will stay with the ones that emailed me by now for these languages.
Check here for a quick FAQ about what is XEB+ and his differences with FMCB

I have a special request for everyone.
Let's make this look good!

PlayStation Developer Wiki is growing - Introducing PS1 & PS2 DevWiki !!!Well, well! You (probably) already heard about the several PlayStation Developer Wikis like for the PS3 and the PS4, but also for the handheld consoles like PSP and PSVITA, with it's strong communities and useful information for each wiki. But while the actual Console Generations were already satisfied with their own wikis, there was something missing. If you wanted to get some informations about older Sony Consoles, then we had to be honest - your informations kept very short. But since we speak about the "past tense form" from "has", the lack of useful information could change with your help. Thanks to the well-known user @GregoryRasputin, you can now contribute to a PS1 and PS2 DevWiki! Yeah, that's right. Sony's both first released home consoles are getting it's own dedicated wikis and everyone is welcome to contribute.Continue reading
