Greetings, i tried to make my own psx pkg using this guide here: PSX to PKG conversion guide posted by most hated but i'm stuck at the last step, simply because psn_package_npdrm cries about package.conf not being there, aldo posted the batch file code below to simplify the process:

    Code:
    FOR /D %%d IN (NP???????*;B??S?????) DO set ps3pkg=%%d

    echo Content-ID = %ps3pkg:~2,1%P0001-%ps3pkg%_00-0000111122223333>package.conf
    echo klicensee = 0x00000000000000000000000000000000>>package.conf
    echo DRMType = Free>>package.conf
    echo ContentType = GameExec>>package.conf
    echo PackageVersion = 01.00>>package.conf

    psn_package_npdrm.exe package.conf %ps3pkg%
    pause
but whenever i run it on the folder i get an ID format error. That going south, i ended up making the pkg with TrueAncestor PKG repacker but whenever i try to run it i get an error. Did i mess up in a step?

The content ID looks messed up there, I don't know why though, "1%P0001-%ps3pkg%_00-0000111122223333"

Content IDs are normally like this: "UP0100-CONTENTID_00-0000000000000000" , I dont think they can contain characters like %,

edit: oh I see now that is part of the cmd, nvm. try just type the content id there instead.

Welp, switching the names worked...to an extent. Now i'm getting a "No target directory: /USRDIR"(note: i'm using the defaults that were in the psxclassics toolkit that most hated posted, unless i have to change the param.sfo too)

every pkg needs a USRDIR folder and a PARAM.SFO.

An easy way is to open the cmd drag in psn_package_npdrm.exe, package.conf & PS3_GAME with a space between each one then press enter.

here's an example of what you're trying to do (taken from my tutorials):

    echo ContentID = EP0001-NPEB00149_00-TMNTRESHELLED002>package.conf
    echo Klicensee = 0x00000000000000000000000000000000>>package.conf
    echo DRMType = Local>>package.conf
    echo ContentType = License>>package.conf
    echo PackageVersion = 01.00>>package.conf
    make_package_npdrm.exe package.conf NPEB00149
    pause
change the lines accordingly. games can be gameexec, gamedata, and I think one other thing in the content type field.

edit: oh, I just realized you were trying a ps1 game. I'm not sure if there are differences there, but the above is for a normal psn game. creating a license pkg of one I mean.

might as well post the thread that got me to this problem http:// www. psx-place. com/threads/psx-to-pkg-conversion.9719/#post-44979

UPDATE: well crap, i tried aldo's xmb creator to ease the process up and now i'm getting a "Unsupported firmware or the syscalls are disabled" error. dunno how to see what cfw i am on but i think it's re-bug 4.82

Welp. the tutorial for converting games for ps3xploit han did the job for me, just skipped step 12 and it all went smooth(still has icons and param.sfo pointing to koudelka but it's actually another game v:rolleyes:v, oh well)

EDIT: tried editing param.sfo on a second game to not show a different title and got me a 80028F17 error after installing the pkg.
