hey can the source be ported to linux?
off topic wonder how many of these n00bs actualy work for sony to try to piss off the devs to make them not release there has been an influx of new members as of late and the noobs are the only ones asking bout piracy and the leak makes you wonder
i DID hear about back when geohot was sued the lawyers infiltrated psx scene irc's to gather intell
Come to think about it, it does seem very likely.
@habib don't mind these fools just keep plugging away
Just want to friendly remind you guys that site staff see also pre-edited posts.
I'm trying to set alex straight can't do it in 140 or less fact is i may not contribute here and on this vg system but on another site i help on a different system though i rather not be childish and start a flame war
guess I'll just watch and wait
Just trying to help. A lot of folks trying to bring leaks into conversation intentionally. Although I didn't edit out any offensive stuff. The guy edited his post, so I thought it wouldn't be necessary to quote him.
I just told about the non-standard method of installing packages, which works without ps3xploit too. About the leak I said not intentionally. I apologize so much. I just want to be useful also.
For administration - you may delete my profile if you want. I do not want anyone to be angry.
forgot to mention more fixes:
1.all edats resign now
2.fixed issue when rap file had "PKG" in name
3.backup is created of pkg
speed improvements are huge provided you have a decent processor from couple years
habib so now we can resign psn pkg ?
Why would you do that tho ? Would it be to avoid act.dat injection ?
The HAN exploit relies on 3 vulnerabilities in userland:
1.memory search by xerpi
2.Execute system code by @bguerville
3.Exploit improper NX implementation by me
The third exploit changes the keyset but it applies then to act.dat, edats and rifs which is why a new signed act.dat is needed. And this is the reason for the need of a throwaway account so the content which actually needs the exploit will be affected, they will only work when you enable exploit every reboot while your original content won’t be affected
I think we need something to detect rif file. Bothersome to type the name then the xploit fails.
Yes, HAN toolbox is coming which should ease up license injection, typing name with the controller is hard yeah haha
@Kimjim Btw you can go to 'html/actrif_copier.html' and change the name of the rif file for now if you want to avoid typing.
The exploit has not worked for copying rif
Separate names with a comma.
