Maybe you had it already recognized but the last few days and weeks, the PS4 had it's priorities regarding several highlights like from various Kernel Exploits for several newer System Firmwares or even from a preview for a new "Framework" for making things easier in Future by getting more Power to all Functions within the PS4. We know that you won't get tired about the latest and greatest News for the PS4 but there are also other Consoles made by Sony, who deserved your attention as well - so as it is for it's predecessor the PS3. And maybe even when you can enjoy your Backups and Homebrews on the latest System Firmware available for the PS3, it doesn't mean that the Developers are stopping to "tinker" with the Console or that there is nothing more left to explore. So as the Team behind the "RPCS3 PS3 Emulator" doesn't by updating their monthly "Progress Report" for April 2018.
Progress Report: April 2018
April is yet another month full of improvements affecting a large number of games. kd-11 improved RPCS3's Z-curve implementation which not only resulted in the impovements seen in the video, but also improved colors in many FIFA and Need For Speed games.
April has been a month full of advancements in nearly every aspect of RPCS3. Performance boosts, graphics fixes, and compatibility improvements are plentiful.
On Compatibility statistics, we can see a huge increase in Playable titles. A lot of games were retested, and many Ingame or below ones were found to now be Playable. There was also a considerable decrease on the amount of Loadable games and a slight increase in games classified as Nothing, as new games were added into the category.

[UPDATE] Autoplugin v3.79 by @TheheroGAC - Now supports h-encore 2.0 as well!
So you successfully hacked your PS Vita and/or your PS TV and you want to enjoy all the cool Homebrew Releases outside for this system. Maybe you asked: How? Don't worry, there is help for you. But in fact, while the PlayStation Vita has a very strong Homebrew supply, the Installation for each Application can be complicated sometimes. Many Homebrew Applications installs on the fly so you can start immediately tinkering with it after the installation without any other work necessary to do. But sometimes, there are Plugins where you need to change various Configuration Files (like the ur0:/tai/config.txt for instance) to get them running, which means that a simple Installation won't be enough. Such Configurations and Modifications for those mentioned Plugins are necessary like when you want to Overclock the CPU from your PS Vita or when you want to Install Games which requires a higher System Firmware than 3.60 or 3.65 and modifying something wrong inside those Configuration Files manually can take some hazardous Damage for your PS Vita, which no one asks for that. But there is a simple Homebrew Solution available made by @thehero_ which allows you not only to install such mentioned Plugins automatically, it also modifies those Configuration Files by it's own where nothing can get wrong inside your PS Vita and where you won't need to rack your brain anymore. How convenient is that, isn't it?

IRISMAN 4.84 - A great manager with 4.84 CFW (CEX) Support
Following the update to webMAN MOD that provided support for 4.84 (CEX) Custom Firmware developer @aldostools was also directing another update for one of his other popular projects for the PS3, the backup manager known as IRISMAN. Like webMAN MOD is a fork to webMAN (by deank), IRISMAN is a fork of Iris Manager (by Estwald) that builds on a great foundation but offer a lot functionality and support not found in the original project. Like so many backup managers they serve as the All-in-One utilities for the jailbroken console.,The PS3 has no shortage of solutions, but in my mind there is a 3 headed monsters that leads the pack when it comes to a manager's choice. MultiMAN / IRISMAN / ManaGunZ are 3 very useful and feature rich managers and all are quite unique from each others and while there is some similarities in some features they provide, plenty of exclusive features are contained in their arsenals. You really can not go wrong with any of those three choices and no harm in trying all of them to see what suite you best,
In IRISMAN you will find a very functional file manager along with FTP support for transferring your files from the PC to the PS3 , MAMBA loader is also incorporated and with this feature it gives your Standard CEX CFW many COBRA CFW like features by injecting the MAMBA payload into your CFW, With this homebrew you can even enjoy other multimedia features like launching Retro Roms for RetroArch along with many other great features that can be found in this popular choice on the PS3 (CFW required),Continue reading -
h-encore 2.0 released by TheFloW - Supports 3.70 spoofing (for PSN Access)
Following up after the release of Modoru last week, which allows you to Downgrade your PlayStation Vita to a lower System Firmware to enjoy again great Hacks and Exploits written for System Firmware 3.60 or even below, today same Developer TheFloW released an updated Version of h-encore, namely with Version 2.0! While this update gives you new and additional Features like spoofing your PlayStation Vita to Sony's newest System Firmware 3.70, Developer TheFloW reminds you that if you aren't still in use of h-encore, then now it is the right time, especially since you can Downgrade your PlayStation Vita now if h-encore isn't enough for you and you want even more "out from your Device". This is recommended for a better Game Compatibility as well as for Homebrew, which needs higher Permissions from your Device, such as the famous HENkaku Ensō for instance. This update should also allow you to use the PlayStation Store more easier again but keep in mind that connecting to the PlayStation Store with a "hacked" and "exploited" Device - especially when the core of the Device is still based on a lower System Firmware - can always be dangerous and brings huge risks to a banned Account and/or similar. So please use this with caution.Continue reading
