Tutorial archieved here only for learning purposes, please use: http://www.psx-place.com/threads/ps...ed-w-auto-suggest-configs-dvd9-support.18748/ Hello. This short guide explain how to get DVD9 games to work as PS2 classics on HAN and CFW. I looked into FF12 izjs English translation, to find issue that stopping it from boot on han. I figured out 2 issues that iso had. First one was size of iso that was not dividable by 0x4000. Second one was issue with script inside PS2 Classic GUI. Function for adding LIMG for some reason read non standard iso in bad way. DVD9 is also non standard iso, so we need to fix it manually. Required tools: Imgburn HxD PS2 Classics GUI v2 or newer Steps: 1. Open iso in Imgburn, and check sector count. Open iso like you want to write it to DVD to get this screen. 2. Open calc site (http://www.calculator.net/hex-calculator.html) Now convert sector count from decimal to hex Write down "Hexadecimal value" result somewhere 3. Open iso in PS2 classic GUI, and select "Add LIMG" Confirm adding LIMG sector if prompted Close PS2 Classics GUI 4. Open iso in HxD Search for 4C494D47 in hex Replace both, sector count to result from hex calculator (279890 in this case), and sector size to 0x800 Remember to not change file size here! You need to replace value, not add it. 5. Save iso, and open it again in PS2Classics GUI Select encrypt When asked to patch LIMG sector, select NO Create pkg as usual using freshly created iso.bin.enc, and follow next steps required for HAN (resign).
