Didn't they release patches to fix the SMB vulnerability? So there shouldn't be a need to disable it anymore, right? Although I do agree that it stands to be phased out because it is obsolete. Microsoft did make the specifications available, so it is probably just a matter of whether anybody will be willing to update SMBMAN to support this newer protocol. But first, somebody might want to consider getting SMS to work with the PS2SDK SMBMAN module, if one wants to replace the SMSMB module.
