PS3 This is my first time trying to jailbreak my ps3. Need help with some doubts

I just got this second hand ps3 from my friend. It was never jailbroken before.

In fact, it was never played for a long time, so I had to reformat it.

I reformatted it to OFW 4.83 before I come across this warning not to update it to 4.83 if you want to jailbreak it.

Is it too late to jailbreak my ps3?

I checked using the minvercheck that mine is 3.50, which is jailbreakable. Please advise.

 

Making a few assumptions here.... from the min ver you gave of 3.50 this would be a Slim model PS3, CECH2**** so it would be a NOR not NAND.

You can still jailbreak this but would need to use an E3 NOR Hardware Flasher to jailbreak this on 4.83 OFW.

 

As Cypher said its E3 Flasher for you... or you can wait until a 4.83 Exploit arrives but there is no ETA, which means you could be waiting forever.
And @Cypher_CG89 Minverchk 3.50 is a CECH-25XX right?

 

That was my first thought yes, probably one of the first 2500 models with date code 0D or 1A maybe.
