I recently updated my ps3 with Rebug 4.81. Then installed latest webman mod 1.45.08.

I was serving my ps3 isos from a linux server with a pretty old (2-3 years?) ps3netsrv64 precompiled from deank. Everything worked fine with the above configuration.

I realized that my ps3netsrv was old and thought I'd grab a more recent one from aldostools github. I went for the precompiled binary from here webMAN-MOD/ps3netsrv/bins/linux.1.43.28/ps3netsrv64.

After installing it, I can see all of my games via the webman mod webpage if I browse to it from my laptop and when the PS3 starts it mounts my last loaded game.

But if I drill down into webman games from the XMB, it shows 0 ps3 format games. I usually mount games via the PS3

I confirmed in webman setup that I'm scanning for lan games.

If I rollback to the previous/old version of ps3netsrv64 everything works.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to check next?

    Thank you.

I can compile the 1.45.08 (Build 20170106) version for you later today, but you should be able to yourself.

    From memory(!):
Get the "Source code (tar.gz)" from https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/
    Untar it: tar zxf webMAN-MOD-1.45.08.tar.gz
    cd webMAN-MOD-1.45.08
    cd ps3netsrv
    mv Makefile Makefile.old
    mv Makefile.bak Makefile
    make

You should now have a fresh ps3netsrv executable in the same folder.

When testing it, just run it from shell and you'll see its output if it crashes etc.
    .\ps3netsrv /path/to/games 38008 192.168.101.*

You'll also see your PS3 connect (Connection from ....) when Refreshing XML. Then you know its talking to it OK.

change 192.168.101.* to your internal IP range of course. Guess you can just use * as well.

Just get the latest binaries from github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/tag/1.45.09.
Test with both new ps3netsrv64 + wMM 1.45.09 & report if you still have issues.

Aldo's precompiled binaries are only for Windows and I'm running on Linux, unless I'm just blind and can't find them.

I've compiled 1.45.09 ps3netsrv from source and will test later today when I update to Rebug 4.81 + webman mod 1.45.09

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll report back after testing.

EDIT - yeah, I'm blind... just found them in the /bins/linux folder

Glad it's working & now you know where to get updated binaries in the future...
