Here is a common question that i am sure many NEW CFW user's are wondering and we will be answering that for you: When a 4.83 CFW is released should i update my 4.82 CFW right away? the answer to that question is NO in most cases, the reason is that often times because other useful apps MAY need to be also updated to fully support the new firmware properly (not the case for all homebrew and tools (depends on their functions) ),luckily you can keep track of those apps in this handy thread we will keep updated >>> LINK <<< as things roll out in the coming days(s). So, by updating to 4.83 CFW right away you may be restricting yourself to less of what the community has to offer at first instead of more until other things catch up and are updated to fully support the new firmware revisions,, if you desire to connect your CFW online, then using a Spoof like SEN Enabler is an option from 4.82 CFW (without update to 4.83) but spoofs could be another risk that connecting on a current firmware does not pose,. So use any method at your own risk, nothing is guaranteed. Now the recent firmware updates have not done much to change or affected homebrew apps as developer @aldostools has pointed out that offset are the same in previous versions so just some homebrew should work fine (that normally would need updated) , Usually some features may not work properly and things like firmware identifying state things like "non supported firmware" as it will not recognize the 4.83 based firmware,. Typically the best approach is letting things get released and see how it plays out and read some of the user reports (BEWARE people act like experts that do not know much), rather then jumping on right away.
