Developer Aldostools has recently updated webMAN MOD to v1.30.34 after successful test were reported on the previous test version, that corrected some issues in webMAN MOD v1.30.33 that was included in the REBUG REX v4.65. After the release of PlayStation 4 firmware 2.00 many had issues with the update. One been the newly added Rest Mode, that if turned on would allow the system to enter sleep mode and never wake up until one resets the console. So as word spread like wildfire on the webs many just made sure to switch the new feature off. Well... lets hope that this is the thing of the past as Sony has just rolled out firmware 2.01 [break].[/break]for the console that fixes this rather annoying bug. No official changelog available yet but I will update our thread containing all updates to the console once available.

Developer SKFU made a very interesting post a few days ago on his blog regarding PS4 firmware 2.0. He managed to get access to debug settings on his retail console. Although at the moment you cannot do anything with it, it is great news to see findings like these on the new console. PlayStation News Possible SQL Injection Vulnerability - PSN Accounts Not Secure
Reading over at the German tech website golem.de an IT security expert claims that Sony's PlayStation Network is vulnerable to a SQL injection attack. What is also alarming is that Aria Akhavan claims to have informed Sony regarding the matter, at the time of writing this, almost three weeks ago. If this is to be a valid claim [break].[/break]and if the threat still persists we could see another fiasco as we did back in 2011, when about 70 million account information was essentially stolen.
