Yeah, I kind of missed this one but here it goes nonetheless. Universal Media Server version 5.2.2 was released about a week ago. So those wanting to stream their media via their PC's to your consoles will be glad to see another update. In version 5.2.2 various improvements have been made aiding file support, rendering and language support. [break].[/break] Here is the changelog.
PS VITA / PS TV SKFU's Pr0xy³ Updated
Here is the latest update to SKFU's multipurpose proxy server tool for Windows. SKFU's Pr0xy³ is not just a proxy server tool, as mentioned by the developer. It also serves as a HTTP server, a dump server and DNS server. This tool can be used for many devices but our interest in it is of course consoles. Those been [break].[/break]PSP, PS Vita, PS3, PS4 and even the Xbox One.
UPDATE: Version 5.2.1 released. Universal Media Player receives a welcomed update for PlayStation 4 owners bringing it to version 5.2.0. Even though Sony released their Media Player for the console I'm sure many will put this to use since Blu-Ray video is sure to exceed the 4GB FAT32 limitation. So what better than to steam said video from your trusty PC running either Windows, Linux or even OS X.[break].[/break]

Lead developer Subjunk and his team have progressed UMS (Universal Media Server) to version 5.1.4, it has been a little over a month since we seen the release of v5.1.3. In the past month the developer's have improved stability on the DLNA Media Server. while also making improvements to transcoding speed, file support, detection of files and much more [break]s[/break] that can be see in the information provided below:
Sony's Streaming Game Service known as PlayStation Now that allows you to rent and stream games to your various PlayStation Console(s) and devices. Now has announced that the PlayStation Now Subscription will extend to PlayStation 3 (PS3) user's . Starting May 12th there will be two plans to choose from a $19.99 per month plan, or a $44.99 3 month plan for the service. The developers of this handy application, that supports three operating systems, gets another update. Various improvements have yet again been made to renderers which increase support for a few devices. One been the Xbox One. Here are some updates to Universal Media Server. These updates serve to squash some bugs in its previous release. These bugs affected some renderers and also a subtitle transcoding issue. Added now is customisable background, foreground in tooltips a well as the ability to add links. In version 188.8.131.52 [break].[/break]for Windows the developers quickly release a hotfix, the rest can be found detailed below.
Sony is officially rolling out the new "PlayStation Music- Spotify" to the PlayStation 3 (PS3) / PlayStation (PS4) and also the Sony Xperia Mobile devices. This services comes to 41 markets around the world. With more then 30 million songs and 1.5 billion PlayStation Music has something for everyone. Spotify comes with a "Connect" feature that works with the "official Spotify app for Android/iOS".. Universal Media Sever has been updated which improves transcoding speed. Also notable in the changelog below is the addition of a auto save feature coupled with various speed improvements. The ever so popular PC to PS3 video streaming application for Windows, Linux and MAC has received another update. In this update following version 5.0.0 you get further improvements to many devices listed below and also to a few file formats.
