What is the best way currently to run PS2 games on 4.84.2? I have a few isos in the correct folder, I then run Managunz, it goes back to XMB. I see the format PlayStation 2 disc. Open it. The game starts, but I get a blank screen before it gets to the menu. I have Cobra & Rebug enabled in Rebug Toolbox.

Are they ISOs you ripped yourself, from the original PS2 game discs?

Yes. Copied them to internal hard drive and put in PS2ISO folder.

No problem, just wanting to check since the forum is really cracking down on piracy. No offence intended :)

Anyway... I recommend you take a look at the PS2 Classics Compatibility List for the games you've ripped, since even with CFW the ps2_netemu emulator which is used on all non-backwards compatible PS3s (was originally used for PS2 Classics from the PS Store) has limited compatibility.

It could be that the games you've ripped just aren't compatible. If there was an existing CONFIG for the game, when you mounted the game with ManaGunZ it would have copied it to the PS2ISO folder. You might want to take a look at this thread as well, as it's still ongoing and may have more information for you. Hope this helps. :)
