    Hey guys,

Is there a way to boot original import games from disc on a fmcb modded ps2 without a modchip and without swapping and broke my disctray with this **** swap "trick"?

Or do I have to use usb/network method OPL to launch import iso files or do I have to burn them with ESR?

Is there no possibility for non pirates to load their OG ps2 imports? I got a PAL PS2 and wants to load NTSC UC game from OG disc.

Only find childs that make pirate tutorials on youtube. Sorry I do not have the need to pirate 1-5 dollar ps2 games you can find in mass on any garage sale or on ebay, but okay If you need to BUT I love collecting games and want to play my OG games region free.

I guess there is no way around swapping discs hm? :/

I hope you can help my with this. PEACE!

    Unfortunately no.

Without swap trick there is no other way to boot org game disc (CD\DVD)
from other region (e.g. PAL game on NTSC console) with only FMCB\FHDB.
    Only modchip can help.

As a workaround you can use ESR, OPL...

Theoretically you can use swap magic...
With it PS2 should stop disk from spining after launching, so you will not need to perform "hot" swap,
but it will required to block lid sensors... and to swap discs.

There MIGHT be a chance for that kind of feature, if we ever get ahold of some MechaCon Firmwares (i.e. via Decapping).

Mind you: The PS1 had some drive-unlock-codes as well!
