Alright! Due to the fact that some threads or posts seem to be inspiring for various people (like the N64-Thread, or the idea about a new Exploit based on a newer vulnerability), [evil villain I am] I create this thread!

This thread is a case-study or idea of a Ransomware + Worm for the PS2, based on the "OSDSYS-String/Parsing/Loading-Vulnerability" (or the one "Fortuna" is probably using)!

The idea is a Payload which:
    • Uses the save-related exploit,
    • locks access to saves within the OSDSYS,
    • copies itself to another MC, when triggered,
    • etc.!
    A name-idea:
"[PS2] McRanz-Worm" derived from "[PS2] MemoryCard Ransomware Worm" (and sounds kind of like "McRib" or etc.)! It's just meant as a case-study and should not delete any files (hence it can be removed using Homebrew, lol)! We don't want to "hurt" anyone!

    Just a thought! ;)
