I have installed Rebug CFW on a PS3 with backwards compatibility. I installed many of the PS2 ISO’s for fighting games with the intention to use my arcade stick controllers which are PS4/PS3 compatible to play them.

These arcade stick controllers (which are wired) typically work for everything else on the PS3 EXCEPT FOR WHEN PLAYING PS2 games.

Has anyone in the modding community managed to come up with a solution to allow the controllers to stay recognised by the PS3 when playing PS2 games? It’s really frustrating not being able to play these fighting games with the appropriate controller!!

USB ports get disabled during PS2 emulation on backwards compatible consoles IIRC, there's no way to use peripherals other than DS3 on ps2 mode. you could alternatively try on all 4 usb ports, since ps2 only has 2, 2 of them on the ps3 might be disabled but not the others. anyway, i have never gotten any peripheral to work with my now defunct BC console
