I have an issue I have been wondering about for a while. When resetting into debug mode, I get a black screen (or scrambled) unless I set the monitor settings to 1080p/720p/576p & choose 576p as debug resolution.

No HDMI output means no output on RemotePlay either btw.

I cannot seem to get a picture on either 720p or 1080p.
It does not stop me from debugging but 720p would be a lot better.

Is it a typical problem with HDMI ? I don't have a 2nd TV to test....

For info, HDMI works well with the console in system software mode, including CEC & remote control swap. The TV is 10 months old & a very good model, supporting most standards out there. There are 5 HDMI ports, 3 in 1.4 and 2 in 1.3.

I have a couple of console video cables in a box somewhere. A normal yellow/white & red & a YPbPr component. Should I try those?
