Hi guys, got an issue with my ps4 controller. The R1 is constantly being pressed down, although it's not physically evident and sometimes the R1 does not work at all. The area is not sticky, so it has to be either an electrical malfunction, or something interfering inside. The R1 and L1 pop right off so I was able to take a look at what was visible without taking the whole thing apart, and nothing seems out of the ordinary at all. Even though It's not dirty, dusty, etc., i cleaned the area.

Does anyone have any experience fixing something like this? All searches lead to fixing buttons that are physically stuck, when that's not my issue.

    Thanks!

You should replace the whole flex or just the right half if your controller is a two flex version
