    Hi Guys,
I was flashing my fat ps3 it restarted and said installing all was going well, when half way through we had a powercut and ps3 went off. I've tried turning it on with the power button on the front along with the PS button on the controller. I've had the controller connected via usb also. Is there anything i can do to get it working again?

I've seen a few links saying it could be hardware flashed with an E3 Nor Flasher, from watching a few youtube vids doesnt look to bad, but would solve my problem?
Can i download a stock set of information to flash to the parts of the corrupt ps3, and then flash again to where it should be?

    Thanks

Do you have a NAND or NOR flash based phat? NAND a E3 will not work as it's only for NOR flash. But if the CoreOS is written and it's NOR flash you might be able to fix it without a flasher. @littlebalup or @Joonie have more experience then I do in the and can probably point you in the right direction.

Does power cut also cause problem during CFW or OFW install since changing firmware changes the NOR/NAND file?

    Hi my ps3 is a CECHL VER_001 1X16mb NOR 80gb version,
the files used to do the flash were NOR_NAND_writer_release_2.0.1_PS3Xploit.zip & HFW_4.84.2_PS3UPDAT_03_22_2019.7z extracted to memory stick. Went through the update from memory stick option, it went through one progress bar, asked to restart which it did, then half way through the install the power went out and it doesnt start now. thanks

First, try to access recovery menu to re-install your FW.
If it doesn't work you'll need to dump with an hardware flasher then see what is wrong.

No luck on the recovery mode, i turn the main power switch on and press the on switch at the front of the device for 10 secs, nothing, held it for longer also and nothing no bleeps etc. The only button that gives me a noise is the blu ray eject to say nothings in side to eject.
The red light is constant on the front.
