If you made a dump right before to use ps3xploit flash writer, reverse it then flash it (no need to patch it).

If you are totally lost, you can send your dump to me in private. I'll prepare it for you.

You mean to send the original dump if it not works when flashing?

I’ve not had this problem myself so I’m going off of what I found online.

I noticed a lot of people saying it could be the hdd. I didn’t see anyone saying that changing the hdd fixed it for them. You may try taking the hdd out and putting it back to make sure you have a good connection.

Another person said after a few tries it worked. I’d say this one was just luck.

The guy that said he got it working said he had ripped a resistor with the e3 clip and once he replaced it the problem was solved.

I’m not sure if any of this helps but this will bump the thread so others will see your post as well.

Hi, I bricked my ps3 cech-3011b 4.85 HEN mod, trying to put CFW with PSXploit :cower:.
I bought a Teensy2.0++ to continue with this tutorial, I connected the Teensy and extracted the dump 8 times and compared them with HxD.
When I run PS3DumpChecker, I get the surprise that everything is OK.
I also patch the dump with CosOFW485 and write the new dump in the console.
Now the ps3 is on but it doesn't give me image or sound, the hdd led doesn't blink either.
I have disconnected all the cables, even the tristate. I don't know what to do anymore, I leave my dump in case someone wants to see it and help me, I don't care about the idps. Link removed. Share link via private message.

I removed your link to your dump. Share it via pm to @littlebalup. You may need to get your post count up before you can pm

That's "normal" that PS3DumpChecker says the dump is OK as there isn't corruptions. This quind of brick is not due to corruptions but to an incompatible CoreOS (custom, without lv0.2, etc...).
That said, your GLOD may be due to a bad flash or hardware issue. Did you re-dumped after flash and compared it with your original patched dump?

So this kind of brick can't be fixed?:confusion: Before the brick, the ps3 worked perfectly.
I'm gonna weld everything back together, dump it and compare.

Yes it can. By reinjecting a compatible coreOS. It's the purpose of this guide

Finally, after almost throwing everything away, I rewelded the teensy and dumped it. This one was totally corrupted.
I rewrote the fixed dump and it WORKED!!:chuncky: I couldn't believe it. Thank you very much to those who helped me.

Of course, that's what happened to me on the Ps3 Slim with metlrd2(NOR type). I got it back with a Teensy 2.0++. But you can also with E3 flasher.

Hi everyone. I have bricked super slim model CECH-4208C which seems bricked. I buyed it for parts as is for very cheap price, so i don't know what exactly happened with it. The PS3 turns on with no screen, and turns off after approx. in one minute with no lights. Can anyone help me with this issue? I think it bricked because it do not turn off at all with removed NOR chip.

    Tahnks

So you removed the nor chip from the motherboard? Was that so you can dump your nor chip?, dump looks good only warning is you can not downgrade at all because min fw version is 4.50 from the factory or install cfw you can only use hen.maybe flash back your dump and it will work?

That looks more like a hardware issue, not software. The PS3 had this problem when you bougth it? Also, that check log looks fine imo.
