u need to activate the device. connect to psn. u won't be prompted to update. also, u must be connected to psn to transfer content with the ps3.

Your not using the update blocker correctly. Adjust your network settings with port 8080 and ensure no firewall or such is in the way. Start update blocker then power on the PS3 and connect to PSN. From that point from a cold start run the PSTV and try to connect.

Well i have transfered the exploit games to my pstv! would the next step be doing the eml exploit, than the whitelist hack?

yes, use the eml trick to transfer the pboot. then, u can do the whitelist hack. with the pboot, transfer it to the game's folder, then use cma to transfer the game to the pc, then back again. this will refresh the database, so the icon should change to tnv, ark, vhbl - whichever ur doing.

Well I have tnv-11 installed on my pstv. Now to install games and apps, what is the easiest method and source files to do this.

the easiest method is to use cma. drop the iso files into the save folder of tnv. then, transfer them to ur system. after that, select the game, and click install. after that, hit delete to delete the original iso/cso. btw, if u want to alphabetize the content, use psp filer. u have to change the time stamps manually which kinda sucks as it can take a while if u have a lot of games. also, the iso/cso files must be eight characters long (not including the extension) and in all caps (including extension) for them to be detected.

That worked good. I have vhbl installed in addition. The only thing left to install is tn-x2.

I wouldn't worry about it ePSP and ePS1 have been pwn'd as of today by TheFlow so any firmware below 3.60 is gonna be really useless.

LOL, so i just spent hours and hours to get his working, just in time for it to be pointless :)

It will be nice and more user friendly on henkaku. Though it was cool to see the psp running on my pstv and playing wipeout pure.

I have three pstvs. with three ps3 controllers and 3, 8 gb memory cards. Seems like I don't need all of them. maybe two at the most.

The native PlayStation 1 emulator is flawless. And they have the code to Port total noob X over which has save states and plugins all ready to go unless the other emulators support upscaling better I don't think there will be a point in it

Well I now have tnx-v2 installed. I used the modified version which loads from the tnx folder. To install psx games i have to first convert them using psx2psp, rename the eboot to 8 charcters or less (all in caps) and put it in a zip, is this correct? then what folder do transfer the psx game in?

ur not limited with tnx. place them in the same place as ur psp games. they'll be found. I modded the save location to psx instead of tnv since tnx and tnv use the same save location. :)

I read a bit about bubble blower. Bubble blower clones the original exploit game to allow you to load psp/ps1 from a bubble? I guess tha tis my next thing to try.

I guess it is not possible to install psp isos/ by using vitaftp and putting them and creating an iso diretory in the the psp emulator directory? I tried it and the game didnt' appear.
