Following the idea of as much as possible realistic PSX 2D disc case covers, I started to make the same collection but for PS2.
    Preview:
    ps2_2d_disc_case_covers_preview.jpg

    BTW:
    1. Have someone saw before orange disc case? What title was released in it?
    2. Could someone tell me why some front covers have this strange "wave watermark"? I have few of them like i.e on SH2 or MGS2. :/
    3. Anyone know good address with clean, good quality scans?

I don't know if they have ps2 games, but there's a site with tons of boxart 2D/3D, cartridge, etc. it's https://emumovies.com/

you have to be a member to download. when I signed up months ago, I wasn't getting the confirmation email, but the admin fixed it for me. anyway, you might upload your boxart there. too it's where I got both 2d and 3d nes/snes boxart for the classics.

I don't know about an orange disc case or if this is even relevant, but orange cases on the 360 indicate beta or early build, dev versions of games. I had one for gears of war. in that case, it's not for a specific game, but all betas, which you can download from the dev network. I think the front box artwork is the same, just the color of the case.

    1. Buzz 2 was released in an orange disc case.
    2. That wave means the game can be played online. But not all online games have that. Not sure if I understood what wave you said...

@jcorrea Ad.2) Look at Silent Hill 2 and MGS2 covers from 1st post preview. They have shadow/watermark at the bottom in shape of sea wave (something like this). That's probably watermark left by some idiot who made that scan (but I dunno).

There are other Konami games that have this. Seems like only PAL versions though.

Edit: apparently "konami" in Japanese means "small wave". :-p

Both Metal Gear Solid 2 versions have this wave on the cover > Son's of Liberty is clear wave, and Substance is a blue wave, its not really a water mark but rather something Konami do on there games, but for the MGS 2 games irrc it only appears on the limited edition versions, its on my Lt Eds but not on my normal ones and they are PAL region.

The only place I can suggest for covers is here:
    https://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cat_id=6

When I was making a HiRes covers pack I found it really hard to find decent quality covers for some PAL games. You have to search through a lot of bad quality and user made ones.

For some games I got covers from Moby Games and even eBay lol.

gamefaqs is another place to get decent-good covers. it also typically has the name of games based on region and title ids. it's usualy where I went when trying to find obscure game covers. just look under "release date" when searching for the game you want.

Actually no, both of these games have that wave in real life, you just can barely see it, if i am not mistaken the Re-Released Substance has it as well, its not a scan watermark nor a printing error.

This was a common practice on Konami Covers from the 2000s, mainly PlayStation2 Titles from PAL Region, i know NTSC-J doesn't have it, and i think NTSC-U as well, after 2004, when they changed to the newer Logo, they dropped the wave, you don't see it anymore.

Maybe this will save you some time.

It's all of my PAL covers before I converted. Some of them aren't great, maybe you can find better.

Full converted pack (512x512 8-bit BMP) can be found here.

I never thought of that with konami's name. I usually see it written in katakana, but ko means child, small, little as in koneko where neko means cat and together it means kitten. nami = wave as in tsunami.

I have in mind disc cases: I know about black, blue (both are common), white (i.e GT4), translucent (i.e MGS2 and MGS2S) and orange (Buzz series). But maybe they are more?

    GT3 have black case.

@Berion , I'd like to see your skills on a prototype or demo version of a game, where the game was never released (i.e. no boxart). I found a few like that with the snes. for those, I just used a generic nintendo image. this was for hakchi.
