Can't seem to get PSN pkgs working on my HEN Ps3.

I had an oldschool HAN 4.82 exploit setup from last year and thought that it be best that I start a fresh with the new HEN exploit. I nice even ground to start from.

So all the HAN related content I did have is all gone. But I know it was working 100%

After messing with HEN and webman and multiman and all that jazz for a few days, I've focused on PKG content.

    So, what I've done.
I signed into one of my backup psn accounts and activated my system.
I then rebooted and loaded the ps3xploit act/idps dumper.
Dumper works as expected and I get my act and idps on the root of usb.
Copied them to Habibs resigned 3.0.
    Copied pkg to pkg folder.
    Copied rap to rap folder.
    Started the batch file.
    All is resigned.
    Copied to Ps3 dev_hdd0/packages.
Enabled HEN and installed pkgs through package manager.
    Boot content from XMB.
But I always get an error about licences. No matter what combination of resigning.

Guesses... Do I need to do something more to get HAN/HEN working? I assume the HAN support files do this.

Before anyone starts a debate about piracy, I'm using PSN content that I've purchased on my main PSN account and this is purely for education and research for a possible guide I'm slowly piecing together.

I cant help with your issue really. If you are making a guide it is worth noting that we can just grab act.dat from the home folder via FTP or any file manager, and IDPS is shown in webman mod settings, or can be dumped to log file using xai_plugin menu in the network category. There are lots of other homebrews too that could do it. Web exploits will be obsolete really soon enough now that we have HEN.

I had suspicion that I could obtain this from the ps3 using FTP but I'm completely new to the PS3s file/folder structure and thought it just be easier to use what i already knew. But for sure, I will ease off on the webkit exploits now they are pretty much obsolete.

Its strange that I'm getting issues with PSN pkgs though. I'm basically following my own AIO guide to do this and just a bit stumped that nothing works :S

Try installing RIF PKG files under HAN only mode. Mine's works well when installing Bejeweled 3 on HEN-installed PS3 superslim.

Speaking of PS3 folder sturucture, if you're already used to some unix systems like Linux, MacOS or equivalent unix system, PS3 folder structure are like that because PS3 OS are based from unix system but under FreeBSD platform family.

    Quick update.

Tried @amirzaim suggestion of enabling HAN instead and installing pkgs. This didn't work. I'm still getting invalid licence errors.

I think HAN is auto enabled when HEN is. So I don't think that would've worked anyways. But I had to test to be sure.

I've copied my act and idps for a second time now. Resigned everything but still the same result

weird. I did the same thing, fresh from the start and install from the scratch. Install HFW >> HAN >> HEN 2.0
as usual installed all the usual stuff (installed webman, mmCM etc..), then install the PSN pkg stuff, all of them works without license issues.

the steps i follow is the usual HAN stuff, except for the pkg installing part which I ftp all the larger PSN pkgs.

But I encounter that issue back then with HAN, my mistake was im using my default user instead of the user with dummy account for HAN use, all I did is use that user (i named it HAN) then install the rif pkg installer there, after that all the PSN pkg games works fine.

I am using only one PSN account, which is a dummy/throwaway account...
Is it possible that i need to deactivate my ps3 using the original account i used for the first HAN installation?
Its possible that i may have used a different psn account to the one im using now...

Well...if else fails, try to perform full reset of your console by reformat the PS3 drive and reinstall OFW, then HFW and then install HAN and HEN as well.

    Well....

Might be my final resort to start fresh and do a OFW reinstall.
Just to make 100% i didnt mess up along the way I tried one more time and reactivated, redumped, resigned.... same results :(

Maybe webman's spoofing your idps that breaks your license activation?

What's the error message you're getting when launching HAN contents?

Not near console at present but I got 2 errors from different content. I think one was an error code that mentions copyright protection. The other was a link to the psn store to update licence.

It's obvious that it's something to do with activation/act/idps.

I haven't tried to boot content with webman disabled, I will try this.
But I'm sure I saw in webman settings that act/idps spoofing was disabled though
