There are multiple ways to install large packages now too with HEN on HFW, Using FTP to copy a large pkg dev_hdd0/packages/ is one very simple way. Also you can just split the pkg into parts with a splitter app. There are other ways too, like mounting an NTFS drive as App_home or even install over network.

Nice. But, using FTP (on HEN/CFW) is faster and easier than this.

nothing new and games that have a file greater than 4gb can't be split even for that no need for pkg to install games or pkg linker to transfer just ftp you can drag your CFW2OFW Game (BLES and NPEB folders to /dev_hdd0/game/) ,you just make it harder already two tools availble see my post here :

You actually can split pkgs that have single files over 4GB now on HEN, you can just split the pkg file directly, and then copy back to the system with multiman or other managers, and it will put the pieces back together if they are named correctly.

No point though, as there are better method that don't require splitting.

yes i know that multiMan will auto merge when copy but no need to create pkg even, just extract pkg like we have two folder like we preapare a CFW console for DTU transfer the NPEB and BLES folders with ftp and the rebuild database after reboot the games will appear in XMB

My point was that this statement is wrong, not that its a good method.
Extracting large packages, and then transferring lots of small files over FTP , and then rebuilding database is a very slow way. Better to install from NTFS or using PS3netserv, no extracting or database rebuild needed.

How do you do this on Hen? Mount ntfs drive as app_home?

EDIT: nevermind, just found the Irisman 4.84.5 that fixed the system shutdown issue.

I just host my pkgs from nethost via ps3netsrv, then use webMAN MOD to mount the PKG folder as dev_bdvd then install it from PKG manager.
