Is this project dead?. Would love to have my Saturn games working on ps3. Already have modded Sega Saturn. With chip. Would be cool to play a few select games on ps3. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

Sega Saturn has been notoriously hard to emulate. From everything i've read about the console, it was even hard for developers to program for the system! I highly doubt you'll ever see a Saturn emulator on the PS3. You're better off with buying the actual hardware.

Like @complexusername mentioned. Sega Saturn was pain in the bass to code.

    • 2x Hitachi SH-2 (28.63636 MHz)
    • Sega SCU DSP (14.31818 MHz),
    • Yamaha VDP2 (57.27272 MHz)
    • Hitachi VDP1 (28.63636 MHz),
    • SH-1 (?)

It sonds like 4-5 different systems in different architectures, but nope. Is one console. No chance to really working Saturn emu on PS3. Anyway there is new emu for PC called Nova, check it.

It is more likely that the n64 emulator will be made than the sega saturn emulator

It's easy to edit a footage with After Effects and Premiere. The chance of this video being fake is very high. No tech or dev details explained.
