i already said that i'm using nobd cfw,i'm just curious if i can fix it.
So you are using no BD cfw but still facing the problem. Have you tried re-installing some other no bd cfw?
Anyway, does BD controller chip fail due to aging of console or are there any specific reasons which can cause this chip to fail?
no,i don't face any problems,i didn't said i was having problems,ps3 is working just fine with noBD cfw.i just asked is it possible to fix BD with those symptoms.
You wanna fix BD drive with failed controller chip? That's hardware failure and i believe can only be fixed is by replacing the BD drive.
I have one of these for the ps2. it's a pos. that's when I replaced the laser. they're a waste of money.
