I got a usb 3.1 thumb drive from Best Buy a few weeks ago for 30 bucks. It’s 256 gb and is smaller than a dime

Yeah, Those are great too for PSTV/Shield etc.

Here is one @ £33.74 for 256GB, Barely sticks of the device. I have one in my Shield set up as extended internal storage.

Yea that’s the same one I got. I bought it for the PlayStation classic that I modded. I wanted something super tiny that didn’t stick out a lot or have a ton of wires coming out the front or back. This worked perfectly and for 30 bucks I couldn’t pass on it.

I got a 512GB micro sd card for my switch. I've bought so many digital titles that I only have about 36GBs left. there's no way I'm buying a 1TB micro sd card right now, but in that pic, it's about $100 less than I remembered it being. my original 400GB card is now being used for the vita. I was going to use its original 128GB card with the ez flash omega on my ds, but apparently I've been waiting two months for nothing (never shipped).

The price drop on SanDisk's 400 GB card are INSANE, not that I'm complaining by any means! :D

A quick search on camelcamelcamel shows this card retailed originally for $249.99 USD, on January 18, 2018. Price drops didn't start until this year, and it hit an all time low on July 15, 2019 at only $44.99 USD.

I paid $76 for mine earlier this year, which at the time was a stellar deal. Not even mad as I really needed the storage at that time, and that was a great deal. I'll just pick up a few more when they drop even further. :P

I'm probably going to have to archive some of my switch games. I just wish there was some way to use two micro sd cards at the same time. I believe that the system has a limit of 2TBs (God only knows how expensive that would be). lol two things I want for that system: a way to copy saves to usb, and being able to use an hdd. :)

With SX OS you can use an external hard drive and play games off it. You can even get a I think it's a type c to type b cable and use the external hard drive on the go and not just docked. It kinda sucks that you have to pay for SX OS but to me it was worth the approximately $25 to use an external hard drive.

You can't copy saves directly to usb but you can back them up with checkpoint to your sd card and then back them up on your computer or hard drive.

yeah, I've heard about that. I think I read that sx os is the only way to use an external hdd. maybe atmosphere doesn't have that ability due to potential piracy? I've bought about 65 games (all digital) for the system. I still have to get rid of my retail games.

anyway, I think after the ps4 scene, which I'm not that into really, will be my last. I just don't like prospect of learning so much about a system, then not playing any of its games, becoming more a collector than gamer. even then, it's kinda difficult for me to play video games. when I would drink, I would game; now that I don't drink anymore, it's difficult to game, since I associate both together.

I haven't hacked my switch in any way, only learning enough to have backups of my games (not saves or NAND).

I've heard that no other firmware but SX OS will ever be able to play games off an external because they did something illegal with Nintendo's code to make it possible. Don't know if that's true or not, but I just know I haven't seen any other CFW's with the ability as of yet. Atmosphere creator is anti-piracy so I don't think his CFW will ever even try.

I have over 400 games on my Switch mostly roms but I made nro2nsp forwarders for them all with a nice icon to make them look like legit games and almost every time I turn on my switch I scroll through them and don't even play one game and just turn off the switch lol. So I feel ya. I've been having trouble getting into games lately even though I have a ridiculous collection that probably includes every good game ever made although the last few days I was playing Metroid Samus Returns on 3DS, and I guess my charger died it won't charge the system anymore so that killed that until I get it replaced.

yeah, it's hard to do that when you have so many games. I bought 76 games for the wii u, for when I was working. I've probably only played 15-20 of them though.
