    Hey All,

I have installed on my BC PS3 Webman Mod, Managunz and Multiman. Doesn't matter which one I use, there is missing box art and it's only for PS2 and PS1 games.
PS3 box art is always there and complete. I have rebuilt the database a couple of times to no avail.
Do I have to manually place the box art in the relevant folders or am I missing something in the setup that is staring me in the face?

    Any help would be appreciated...

I believe multiMAN will automatically find the box art (for PS3 at least) based on the serial number of the game. In other words, for PAL region games you'll get the European box art and for NTSC region you'll get the US box art. I never use multiMAN for mounting backups, but I have seen it automatically add the game box art in its 'XMB' menu.

For PS1 and PS2 games, I added the box art myself. They need to be around 250x250 for them to load properly in webMAN MOD. If you need any more help, just let me know. :)

iirc, by default, wmm uses multiman's retro covers directory, but you can override it with an image of your own. I personally did that with png and transparency. without transparency, the images for the ps2 box look fat. here are the images:

As you see from the attachment, mine is set to 'Disable multiMAN covers'. I then have my covers in PNG format (though I think JPG will work fine as well, but haven't tested) By default, as @pinky says that box is unchecked and the MM COVERS option is selected from the drop-down menu. Not sure what ONLINE COVERS does however. Maybe @aldostools can help with that :)

The cover art needs to be in the same folder on the root of the internal/external drive, as well as named the same as the ISO or other image format e.g. BIN+CUE . For example:
    Or for PS1:
    You get the idea :)

afaik, either jpeg or png will work, but jpeg will not show transparency. however, you can see in my image that even png shows white = transparent. it just won't display that portion of the image.

I might have to take you up on that tip of using transparency for PS2 covers, since they look fine in the browser view but in webMAN Games they do look squashed and not quite right lol

Because ICON0.PNG is a rectangle and webman displays all the icons as perfect squares, there is no solution for that
The easy way to prevent it is by having the game cover for that game, this way webman displays the cover instead of the ICON0.PNG
In managunz there is an option to download the game covers of PS1 and PS2 games btw

    Hey everyone,

Thanx for the feedback...I'll search around some more on managunz to find the download option for PS1 and PS2.

You could do what I did and download the MultiMAN Cover pack, and install the pkg or extract the package and find the covers and put them on your PS3.
