I haven't really looked, but @Grim Doe , have you done any mods for mortal kombat 11? I suspect it's only currently possible on the switch. I bought the game and all dlc, but I haven't really played it at all. some of the mods, like villains from horror movies, has me intrigued. I probably won't mod my switch, but it would be awesome to see some mods for that game.

      No no't at all
I have only seen work done on the PC.
I do hope to see work done on the PS4 but
We all know what that requires and patience is Key.

from my limited understand of the switch scene, a game mod for mk 11 might come out as unsafe, since it may require higher privileges. to test if a game or update (dlc won't be brickable I believe), you need nx info (an app to determine if it's digitally signed, safe, type of content, etc.). I only use it to see if something is safe. I've heard that it may fail with homebrew, so an mk11 mod may come out as unsafe. I sorta understand how it can make this determination or based on my reading. something in the header grants privileges to install anywhere on the file system. it may be needed for a game mod (not really sure). the patch (account linking) to bloodstained verifies as safe too with no corruption via nsp verify.

edit: actually, now that I think about it, it might be possible, 'cause someone was able to hex out the nintendo account thing from bloodstained. I don't have that problem though, considering I'm always connected for cloud saving. I have it set to download/install updates whenever they're available. though, there seems to a bug (maybe intentional) where it won't download updates for games that haven't been played for a while. the funny thing is about mk 11 is the current update is like 17GBs while the base game is only like 6.5GBs. it kinda reminds me of street fighter v on the ps4 where the base game and its latest update have nearly the same size difference. lol
