So some of you may know my love of all things Sega. I am a firm supporter of all the indie devs on the system and this year looks to be another bright one. After being kicked over and over again as one of the first backers of the game being released on the Dreamcast only to see the PC, OSX, Steam, 360, XB1, PS3, PS4 and Wii U get this game after all being announced well after. The first announced system has finally seen the light of day. I was getting worried the Vita port would have come before the DC variant. We have seen some truly great games like Gunlord, Ghost Blade, Sturmwind and my personal favorite DUX 1.5 (as well as DUX & ReDUX) games to the "dead" system. Teams like HuCast, Senile and NG Dev have kept the system very much alive. Only one year since 2001 when the system was cancelled by Sega we didn't get one new indie game, though we did see two unreleased retail games that year. One being the fabled Giest Force which I helped release a vastly improved image of back then. We finally have something totally different a RPG. And boy did Watermelon come through!! The extras like the directors cut and mini games have renewed my faith in the team and I eagerly await seeing Saber Riders now.
