    not sure what the biggest micro sd card you can have is, but I've heard of people using 256GB ones. I'm using a 128GB one myself. permanent cfw is Henkaku enso. well, technically, it's permanent hen (homebrew enabler). mai games are games dumped with the mai dump tool. vpks are either games dumped with vitamin or homebrew. homebrew still comes as vpk since it's convenient. your best option is using nonpdrm since both mai dump tool and vitamin don't dump games correctly. there are even some games that can't be dumped with them. you'll get a 1:1 copy with nonpdrm. it's playable with a fake license which nonpdrm will generate. I hope that's helpful.

    I don't know of a tutorial for that. there's a pretty informative thread on gbatemp though.

    edit: try this - http://vita.cfw.guide/

    maybe a link to the homebrew browser? though, I think some things on the homebrew browser are not updated. for example, numpty physics on there doesn't have an icon for some reason. I had made a qcma backup of every game I had including the homebrew ones. the numpty physics I made a backup of had an icon. I didn't look to see if it was the same version though.

    @op , this might help you with games: https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/NoNpDrm it's pretty easy to use. remember to place the path to this plugin under the KERNEL section. don't rewrite KERNEL or anything, just place it underneath the gamesd.skprx line. that seems to work for most. a lot of people can't get the plugin (gamesd.skprx) to work unless it's the first one listed. I assume it mounts that first. anyway, that's what I'd suggest for its location. restart the system for it to take effect (both gamesd.skprx and nonpdrm.skprx). you must have the plugin (nonpdrm.skprx) running or the games dumped in this manner will not function.

    found the answer so i have to wait for the adapter to arrive
    • If you are using a Vita 1000, you must have a memory card
    • but can i mod the vita with micro sd card or does it have to be official sony card ?

    you might be able to mod it with the MLT website. basically, you'll be going to a different website than henkaku's. on that site, either gamesd or molecular shell (to internal flash) will be installed (can't remember which). afaik, it's the only way to install gamesd.skprx to a 1K system without a memory card.

    edit: now that I think about it - you need ensou in order to use gamesd.skprx, so I'm not really sure how you'd install it. however, that's probably taken into account with the MLT website.

    well, you could always sell it after using it. I sold both my 64GB cards after installing gamesd.skprx, and I got about the same amount for them as I bought them. though, this was a 2K and pstv, so there was no need for those cards. the point being - those cards sell for around the same amount even now. :)

    Don't worry, I didn't understand any of that either :)

    I found this thread though, it might help: https://gbatemp.net/threads/mlthaku-install-henkaku-with-sd2vita-without-memory-card.482254/

    Do you have have a microSd card adaptor for your Vita? If not then you are going to need to buy HW anyway , MicroSD is way way cheaper than a sony card so I would recommend getting one the game to SD adaptors.

    See this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/mlthaku-install-henkaku-with-sd2vita-without-memory-card.482254/

    "install henkaku with SD2Vita without memory card"

    So yes its possible.

    HW = Hardware.
