    Hi

Apologies if this is the wrong place for this post but struggling to see how else to post the call for help:
Anyway, I have a PS3 CECHC NAND, was on OFW 4.85, managed to break it to CFW 4.85 (REBUG 4.85.1 LITE EDITION). I now want to be able to boot the PS3 to Linux but struggling to see any articles of how to do this, although I have a suspician I need to downgrade to an earlier version of REBUG.
Any help/pointers would be much appreciated.

    Regards

    Hi Cyper_CG98
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I did try this tutorial earlier and again just now. The result I got, on both times, was-
Update copied to system storage - OK
Restart, successful but "The data is corrupted. (8002F169)" error message displayed.

Should I be doint something else to my system before running this update?

    Thanks again

You need to install Rebug 4.84.2 REX first as you need to be on DEX to install Red Ribbon Linux. It won't work on Rebug Lite as that is CEX only. :)

Edit: moved thread to Help & Support

Hi, tried this but it failed at the point of copy to system storage, MD5 checksum was ok so I assume file wasn't corrupted.
I've even tried installing from recovery console but "No applicable update data was found." erro displayed.
    Thanks
