btw, I'd advise keeping the system if u can stand the ridiculous load times which u can fix. I personally like the 360 more than the ps3 since it can do EVERYTHING without issues. if u like rpgs, try Lost Odyssey which is way better than FF XIII. plus, a jtag/rgh through FSD can change discs automatically. u could even load disc 4 with a disc 1 save, and it'll load the right disc automatically. put the other discs in the hidden category, and it won't matter. :) u'll be amazed what the 360 can do if u give it some time.

yes, and there r sequels to death smiles and otomedius gorgeous both 360 exclusive as well plus many more shmup games. plus, if this makes u feel any better, rgh consoles can install dev firmware. I'm not sure if this is still true, but originally jtags couldn't do that. plus,, jtags can't be performed on slim consoles if that's what u have, so u likely have a more reliable system.

edit: both of my jtags r falcon mobo. u can tell which mobo u have in dash launch or by dumping the flash.

And what's the advantage of installing debug firmware? I have my console on dash 16747 iirc and haven't updated yet because it's too much of a hassle and I don't really need to. All games run fine, even rise of the tomb raider

not really anything anymore. u may want to update to get dlc on an external hdd. I can help u with that if u need it. ms upped the limitations of external hdd from 32GB to 2TB with a recent update. xbla isn't an issue but dlc is. it's up to u though.

xm360 update - 04-08-16. I'll try to create a new db on the first of every month to keep things uniform:

I had to look it up. lol, because I thought I knew what it was; and I didn't.
I thought it extracted xex like xextool. Now I might just have to check this out.

if u mean my db, it's actually used by xm360 to check, based on container id, what u have and what u don't have dlc/xbla-wise in case ur collecting everything.

yeah, it can unlock content already on the system. what's funny is that the db is created from microsoft's server which lists games, container id, date released, etc. :p it just doesn't do indie games. all indie games have the same game id, but their container ids, which r read as dlc (since they all go in the 00000002 folder of the title id folder), r different.

I have about 3,000 indie games for the system. it was all of them at one point. it would be grabbed by the dlc csv, but I think it's separate. at one point, indie games weren't playable 'til dashlaunch was able to fake a live connection. I don't think xm360 has been updated for that. I haven't looked at that though. I have a tutorial about creating ur own db if u wish to. I don't try to pretend like I'm the only person who can do this like some people/sites. ;)

@kadorna2 and others , I'd suggest placing the temp thresholds at 60c/140f in dashlaunch. it will be in terms of celcius in dashlaunch. it's especially a good idea for phat consoles. the system will be loud, but u can dampen the sound with surround sound. u may not need to ever replace the thermal place then. though, I only had to with a xenon motherboard. steer clear of that one if u buy another 360. it wasn't a jtag though, so that may have been part of the problem aside from it being a junk motherboard. lol

btw, not sure if I mentioned this, but if u want to look at the database, I'd recommend using Excel since the databases use spreadsheets. :p however, it's not necessary if just using with xm360. also, do note that the database contains trial and full versions of rock band songs since each has a different container id. enjoy...

edit: also, if u get ##### in any of the cells, expand the cell to see the information. that series of pound signs is due to inadequate space in the cell.
