    I knew this was going to happen! I have not managed to get my PS3 back yet so I can get the latest Rebug firmware running on it and then Sony pulls a fast one. The other day, I think Monday, Sony did some PSN maintenance which I found a little odd because they literally gave nobody any warning and that got me thinking that a firmware update might be looming. Well, judging by the screen grab below from PSX-Place member Drag, the PS3 firmware 4.76 PUP link by Dr. L Ron Bumquist and not to mention the rest of the web... Official firmware 4.76 for the PlayStation 3 has been released.[break].[/break]

    Developer @LigthingMods has released an update to the PlayStation 4 Homebrew Store App that is currently in the Alpha Stages of development. We have now seen several releases of this homebrew store and the functionality of delivering you a homebrew package (pkg's) works very well."Simply" select and download then boom the app installs the homebrew and is ready to use on your Homebrew Enabled PS4. So the foundation seems solid in terms of the functionality. However you must be warned the User -Interface could use a bit of work but we are sure the developer is aware of this and plans to make further improvements as we embark into the future. One of more annoying quirks you will find in the UI will be with navigation as homebrew is randomly listed and you must navigate pages of listing to find Homebrew. In this update there has been the inclusion of a search feature and in my honest opinion it can be a bit picky (if you do not know the exact name of the homebrew) also a pagejump does allow you to navigate any page on demand, but not the most ideal way of browsing the Homebrew contained in the store. A suggestion to help the browsing of pages would be to add some category listing's and even a newly released section :).   • Orbital.jpg Update #3 for Orbital - An PS4 Emulator by @AlexAltea - now with DualShock 4 support!
    Following up after his Milestone Update back in March, Developer @AlexAltea showcases his third Update from his PS4 Emulator Orbital, which now supports the inputs from an original DualShock 4 Controller together with a new and updated Presentation from the current Development Stages of his PS4 Emulator on his own YouTube-Channel (know with a higher Resolution and Quality :) ). Although the support isn't perfect (the keypress shows big delays on the PS4 while running in Safe Mode - but they are fixable), it is still nice to see how difficult it is to emulate a Console from the ground-up until running a playable Game, but also how much effort he takes to get this PS4 Emulator updated and running better and better. This is already worth some kudos, don't you think? And he has already plans for future updates, such as the possibility to allow a re-installation from the PS4 System Software via an USB Mass Storage Device. Running the Operating System from a emulated Console is always very important and a good basis to make some further work profitable. If this progress will keep so strong for the future, we think we can expect some great functions from that Emulator and for emulating a PS4 on a PC in General, what do you think?​

      The lv2 kernel OFW 4.76 is the same as 4.75
      The same made by sony with FW 4.66 ... then all the homebrew(with payload 4.75) are already compatible, and even the same patch cobras and mambas payload.

      It does not help when DEX PUPs come out quite late and REBUG takes their time to put out a CFW release, especially when their CFW is a crazy-ass but understandably loved hybrid between DEX (debug) and CEX (retail), hence the name REBUG, which is a portmanteau of retail and debug, and hence the time it takes for them to release a CFW as they have to focus on making sure that their firmware works well with the amount of features they cram into a ~200MB PUP!

      You better beLIEve Sony though, because if "stability has been improved" by slapping on a higher firmware number only, then surely Sony has done some work on their firmware to "improve stability", right? RIGHT? Ughhh! :p

      I know you didn't but REBUG releases, for the most part, tend to pop up near the end of the firmware version's relevance period, for the want of a better term, and that is largely due to the points I have mentioned earlier.

      no, they only have countered! IMO

      But I dont understand why? ps3 already in the end of lifecyle maybe some more good games will be released ... but how much?
      they should focus on ps4 and dont waste money on ps3 security because it dont make much sense...as long as the cfw users dont cheat in mp....
      and btw cfw users dont have to update after all just patch games spoof etc. (maybe they will finally give up if no more games will be released on ps3...)
