I bought a PS Vita and installed adrenaline V2 (PSP)
Games in ISO and CSO format works 100%
But the games in EBOOT format does not work displays the following error (80010016)

Can't be wrong here, but I think that you need correct RIF files to run eboots. And PSX eboots for now not work.

I believe kozy is correct. place the rif files in the LICENSE folder. my tutorial on installing the smallest games possible - u can use that to install licenses from ur psp to ps vita. it's kinda a pain since u have to download the games from psn to the ps3, then install on to a psp in order to grab the license, then go into IDU mode on the vita to install the pkg that u get from opening the xpd of the download from the sen website, etc. it sounds confusing and time consuming, but it's not too bad really, just do them in mass installs. drm pkg files should install (never tried it) if u have the license for the content. this does not work for vita games though. also, this will make them appear on the livearea instead of inside adrenaline. they should work in adrenaline too though.

I believe all you have to do is download a tool called umd gen whatever the latest version is. It allows you to convert from eboot to iso to cso to dax from the umd format.

u r correct. I had to use that many times with homebrew on the vita. I don't know if this will allow u to circumvent the license problem though since adrenaline doesn't allow for that.

Yea not sure either but if he is ripping strait from umd, I don't think it would be a problem if he is already using iso, and cso. I'm not going to ask where they came from........:uncomfortableness:

oh, I was thinking otherwise about psn games u download to the ps3, then to the vita. straight from umd should work. I've never tried it. I just used it for homebrew, because on some firmware (@atreyu187 would know which one), they blocked u from being able to write to the game folder. I think it was 3.50. anyway, all homebrew had to be converted to iso. the vsh would go spastic if u tried to install homebrew to the game folder. u'd name them INSTALL.ZIP iirc in all caps to install them to the game folder.

really? I thought the bubble form pkgs didn't provide a rif file until copied to the psp. that's in my tutorial. should I change that? also, is that even necessary now that we can access psn again with the vita? the license I was referring to was the one for say the evil lord demo since it can't be downloaded to the vita.

As long as you legally own them and copy the activation file over. No you can't just copy over an encrypted file without the key and load it. Even if it did we wouldn't help with that.

that I was not aware of. I think I looked for the rif file there before installing the evil lord demo. I must've overlooked it. I went ahead and transferred/installed the game on my psp to get the rif file. it was kinda frustrating since my usb cable kept cutting out. I had to hold it in place. I think I threw that cable away after that mess. :-p

Yup PSX, PS2, PS3, PSP & Vita rif files are all there. The PKG are of course in cash/task. Got into a stupid childish argument over it. The guys logic was if Vita rif files were there we could pirate all PSN Vita PKG files but he just wasn't grasping them being tied to your act.dat file. According to him if they were there ReActPSN would be all we need to pirate Vita games. I just had to walk away.

No idea that TheFlow implemented eboot support. But I can't find anything about this. Try convert eboot into ISO/CSO.

They work if decrypted just fine. Just tested my 1943 Joint Strike. Removed the rif and signed using the old tools without the need for a license and works just fine.

u could try the method I mentioned above on one game to see if the license activation is removed. eboot2iso will take the EBOOT.PBP and extract it into a PS3_GAME folder. u then take that folder and open it with umdgen. this will create an iso or cso of the game. it worked for me having to do it to homebrews when the GAME folder was restricted to read only, a move by sony to combat homebrew and piracy. let us know if it works.
