Hi all! Recently, I received two PS1's and one of the systems has, what I'm assuming, is a mod chip. Upon closer inspection, one wire is not attached and I'm not sure where it goes on the board.

The chip has '12C508/P 04 HAM 9909' on it. A Google search proved useless when searching for a wiring schematic.

Thanks in advance for any advice/help!

Yep, is a PIC made by microchip, it can be recognized by the logo printed on top :)

Btw, the wires used in that installation sucks a bit/lot
For a good manteinance you should replace by new wires with single core (not multicore)

I dont know any instructions or schematic to install it in a PS1 sorry :/

Digrams depend not only of used microcontroller but also firmware.
