I have tried to use the Ps3xploit v2 on my 2101a.
I got a successful clean dump before attempting to flash. Which I saved on my PC.

Before I tried the Xploit I updated to 4.82 twice. I followed @bguerville instructions from another thread.
Could this have happened because my wifi is not so great??

Here is my dump after running the Xploit over the wifi using HDD options.
I had it freeze on me during the first time running the flash writer and I had to restart the system.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Checks of late CECH-25xxx, CECH-3xxxx and CECH-4xxxx consoles dumps still under development! It could return both false positive and false negative results. Please, send me your checklog.txt via my github repository (https://github.com/littlebalup/PyPS3tools/issues) or by mail at [email protected]. It will help me a lot to improve checks ;)

I have installed OFW 4.82 twice since this dump. PS3 acting like normal, but this dump scares me.
What should i do? I will be with better LAN connection tomorrow. Would I better just trying process over tomorrow with better internet?

When you install ofw 4.82 twice before patching the NOR, the dump validation after patching should throw no error & no warning.
So at first glance, all those validation errors aren't OK, at least in theory. Hard to say what is/went wrong without checking the dump file itself.

Did you actually restart the console since you created this dump? Did it work?
If so & it restarted without problems, I would assume that the dump is somehow corrupted. But it's only an assumption, it would need to be confirmed.

If you have not yet restarted the ps3, don't. Keep it on, create another dump via hdd method, validate it with latest pyps3checker & send the log to @littlebalup if it still contains errors. He will tell you if ever he needs to inspect your NOR dump as well.

Thank you for the reply. It was a very interesting DUMP, everywhere a *00 was supposed to appear, it was replaced with a *20..... I think the reason I wasn't successful was because I was on spotty WiFi, away from home. I was hoping it would be strong enough.
Once I got home and used a LAN connection everything went through, as you and the other DEV's designed; perfectly!
I am currently set up with REBUG 4.82.2, converted to DEX/DEX and haven't run into any issues.
Thank you for your efforts! I am very excited about learning more. Thank you for taking the time to read and reply.

It is unusual afaik to get a ros hash warning during validation if you installed ofw 4.82 twice before flashing.
However a ROS hash warning should not really be a problem & it should be safe enough to restart the console.
If you require further confirmation, you should first post the full validation log from pyps3checker for consideration.

Hi Bguerville, thank you for your response. I am currently in rebug 4.82.2. when I'm in cfw when wanting to export the flash with rebugtool I realize that the dump results in bad results with that warning. I've also used the pyps3check and it gave me the following result: Following check (s) returned to WARNING !
    008.04 trvk_prg1 Hash
    the console is a 2104a minvercheck 3.20

Remove some things from the text like the csid. If something important is missing, let me know

Given your very low post count, the anti spamming restrictions applied to all new user accounts are still in effect on your account. Those will be automatically removed after a few more posts.
In the meantime, you should not be able to post any attached file successfully, so I suggest you post the validation log as clear text using the code tag.
    Code:

    FYI
There should be no particular need to edit a validation log, the thing you really need to avoid is posting full NOR chip dumps publicly.
If ever you had to provide such a dump file, you could consider sending the file privately via email/pm if requested by trusted dev/member such as littlebalup, otherwise you should edit the file with an hex editor to remove specific data, such as the console id among other things, before posting it publicly.

I'm sorry for my ignorance. I have the cfw installed and the first dump that I have successfully dumped, so I will not give more laps. also I have seen in the forum that there are users who pass exactly what to me. I was just curious about the failure but that is not very important. thanks to all the team for bringing us these xploits and for helping me

You probably have 3.20 from factory trvk_prg that is not known yet: https://github.com/littlebalup/PyPS3tools/blob/master/PyPS3checker/hashlist.xml

Please perform the first part of that topic: http://www.psx-place.com/threads/need-community-help-to-collect-data.20882/
And send me back the extract.csv file. So I can confirm and update the hashlist.

    Thx.

I also had a MinCheck that came back at 3.20 Factory OFW. I will send you the files you are requesting in the other thread. Would you prefer it through gmail or your github?
