What are the benefits of this? Without circuitry the psp cannot fast charge like a phone can. Also why not just use the USB port on the top for charging. When selected in the options you can charge that way. Cool mod though, I always like to see some different things.
Well, this would be amazingly useful for anyone whoose charger no longer works. Instead of trying to find a working one, maybe simpler solution to put another port there instead of the original and use any USB type (C is the newer, so yeah). EDIT: Forgot to write the most important part XD - if the you run out of battery, USB on the top won't save you. It doesn't directly charge the battery. Only if the PSP is already On. This mod will charge it in that case. Will even hold the PSP working without a battery on it.
