Test build to prove it's working before *that guy* steals my idea. The test build does not contain oclock stuff ATM. https://github.com/joel16/Ultimate-VSH-Menu-PSV/releases/tag/0.00
Nice work @Joel16 , VSHmenu's are always a great to see and a nice welcome addition to Henkaku Thanks for the share !!!
Thanks, I got the basic menu navigation bits working. Now to get the actual recovery menu functions working, cause they're a bit messed up :p Here's a screenshot with an example of what you'd find in a recovery menu. Spoiler: Screenshots Circle is not my enter button btw, like I said earlier the functions are messed up.
u need a tickle @bitsbubba bitsiboo function. that's what's missing. in all seriousness, ur doing a great job. I haven't gotten around to testing this. my vita is restoring a backup via wifi since I think an app or driver is preventing the system from using usb. it works great on my parents' computer. it's just my laptop. I tested it on my parents' laptop and had minimal issues with qcma. anyway, I'm looking forward to what u have planned. ur a workhorse, my friend. and, I love that u upload the source code.
This project isn't dead, however the previous Github repository has been deleted because it was a mess, and included tonnes of unimplemented features that weren't even possible in game mode in the first place. So I decided to nuke that repository, refactor the code and bring it up under a new name known as PSV VSH Menu. Currently there are no builds, but the plugin does let you reboot/restart/shutdown quickly, and also handle GPU / CPU over clocking separately unlike oclockvita. I'm still trying to get it to save a config so that the previous clock state can be saved, however certain permissions are not available when the plugin is running under game mode so I'm gonna have look into it a bit further. The recovery menu is also no longer going to be in-plugin as I showcased it earlier. As a lot of the functions it requires cannot be accessed via game mode. So the recovery menu will be a separate installable VPK, that can be launched through the plugin. Therefore yes, you may want to save your game before you do that because it will exit into the recovery menu (just like on a PSP where it boots the recovery eboot). Ignore launch program in the screenshot, it's most likely not going to be available in the actual release.
Release v1.1 is up. http://www.psx-place.com/threads/psv-vsh-menu-v1-1-taihen.15468/ Happy Thanksgiving!
Nice update, specially config storing/loading related changes! But launch app is also nice add-on, but for me it need to be expanded as you plan to make it perfect.
I had an idea for the next update. Would people like to have individual config support for specific titles? For example say you have two games, Game A and Game B. Would you like to have overclock Game A to the max and keep Game B to default? Or is it better how it is currently, where the clock states are stored in one file and keeps the same configuration for all games.
that would probably be beneficial. we wouldn't have to keep modifying the config.txt by hand every time we wanted to add or remove something. I personally don't use plugins. however, I think a lot of users would like this.
PSV VSH Menu - v3.1 Fixed issues with certain games failing to open the VSH Menu. Fixed issues with games over 3.61+ not working. Fixed issues with certain games not being able to change any of the options. The button combo to open the VSH menu is: L + R + START Download
Ok, so scrap that v3.2 is up! Change-log: Added alternative combo -> L1 + R1 + Select (Some games soft reset with the start button, so this is a way to go around that) Config files are now correctly loaded during boot and the clock config is set during start up of the application. (This means you no longer have to open up the VSH menu during start up to load your clock states, it will automatically be loaded once the application is executed.) Download
PSV VSH Menu v3.4 is up (Didn't get the chance to put up v3.3 here so be sure to look at both the change-logs) https://github.com/joel16/PSV-VSH-Menu/releases
