Have you ever thought to yourself... damn, i hate the look of that crap UI bar in the top right corner of my screen? Well... no more! Introducing the Modern, sleek new clock UI that's so compact you'll hardly noticed its there!!
    screenshot_2019_02_28_22_09_13.png
(I'd take a screenshot of it when your actually logged into PSN, but i can't because webMAN's VSH menu doesn't work when you use PSNPatch to disable CFW syscalls :/)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Notes:

    • Until i figure out why specifying custom overrides doesn't work, i had sifted through the original overrides that our good 'ol friends at $ony had set for us and found a few 0's and over-writ them, it doesn't seem to have messed with any of the main UI elements but if you see something out of place, that's probably why.
    • I don't have PS Plus so i couldn't check where the little UI element would end up (should be where its been told to be.. but y'know)
    • Both my PS3's are on 4.82.2 DEX Rebug so i have no clue if this works on versions newer or older than that or even if it works on CEX systems, feel free to try but i'm not liable if you mess something up.
    • This is only Version 1 so cut me some slack if somethings off, newer versions (if i make any) will have fixes.
    • I've only re-coded for 720p and 1080p so if you use any resolution below 720p then this won't work properly for you. (But if anyone does want all resolutions to be supported then i can)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Changelog:

    Version 1:
    Initial Release

    Version 1.1:
Fixed the feed's position that displays info from the "What's New" section.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Version 1: Download

    Version 1.1: Download

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The .RCO files go in:
    /dev_blind/vsh/resource

    The .txt files go in:
    /dev_blind/vsh/etc

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Big Thanks:
@sandungas - For helping me with </Group> and other annoying problems I had.

This mod involves overwriting files in /dev_flash so make sure you make backups of the files you are going to be overwriting and don't mess with files that you shouldn't be messing with in the first place. This mod has been tested and functions properly.

If anyone could get me a screenshot of it when your actually logged in, that would be great, i can't because as i said, i use webMAN's VSH menu to screenshot the XMB and it doesn't work once you use PSNPatch's plugin to get online :)

or can we change it for cooler animation? I don't know, hour glass flipping, or something else?

Its just handy to have sometimes as indicator of webpage loading etc

Well, you see the "Sony Computer Entertainment" underneath the Host Info? That pulses when the PS3 loads stuff in, installs pkg's, etc., i didnt include it because i didnt think anyone would want it xP

Also, might make some other versions with pulsating animations of any texture that looks cool like the SCE one in my screenshot :P

That's really cool, don't think I've seen something like this before on the PS3. Great work!

Yeah, that's cool. I can see why it would be a bit big for some users alright.

I wonder could whole clock/date be made to pulse, or maybe a spinning thing like infinity symbol. I don't know, the little clock is a bit crap alright , be nice to customise that animation too though.

Cool, do that. Nice job anyway.

One option could be to see can you call these symbols and emojis that are built into firmware. maybe PS symbol from this image or some other one from thread.

How do you do this kinda stuff?
Also how do I do .RCO plugins?
Also how do I do .sprx stuff?
Also how do I do xai_plugin stuff?

I am actually starting to seriously try and do something now.
Expect a Python script to "come out" soon...
Well a small one, not like huge as @littlebalup's PyPS3Checker.
It's not going to do much either and you can seriously do what it does manually, it just takes more time.
Also, it will be more like, I am going to let you guys check on it and see if it sucks or not.
Like can you even do stuff in Python, is it just as capable as C or C++?
It's a newbie language, that's what I know atm and that it has been used by like Nasa etc.
    ;) ;) ;) ;)

By putting in a lot of time and effort of reverse engineering $ony's code and learning what does what and what goes where. :P
