      i wander why there isn't a version for ps2
    3. STLcardsWS
PS3 Core list is getting alot better (many of the cores that used to be included are now getting back to normal as they are re-added) but still not complete:

-- MAME 2003 is the better option (0.78), i do like the idea of having both (mame 2000 - 0.35b7), but seems the better of the two is missing.

-- fbalpha- the standard "fbalpha" core is missing.

Nothing else sticks out quite yet, most looks to be there. I have not installed this version yet so maybe they are downloadable via the core downloader.

Compiling is one thing, the tests are other, which means... :(
    5. TONY-T
      No pcsx for ps3?
    6. TONY-T
So I just updated my vita with it and almost any game i try and start just crashes.. Any advice??
    7. STLcardsWS
    8. Fin9ersMcGee
I'm in same boat as @TONY-T, every game I try crashes back to livearea (PSTV).
It could be a conflict with plugins but I haven't tried disabling them one by one to test.
I just rolled back to 1.7.3 to get things working again until I have the time to investigate further
    9. TONY-T
Same, I rolled back and everything seems to be working again.
    10. JediKnight007

I may be wrong about this (and I probably am), but I believe that the reason is that the PS2 does not use OpenGL or Direct3D, but rather some proprietary API.

There is also a MAME2003 Plus core (available on the Vita, as well as the other 2 arcade emus), maybe @Ezio or someone could compile it? Though I recall reading MAME is a pain to compile.

Still no sign of SuperGfx or Mednafen Lynx, maybe others I'm forgetting? (34 cores is quite a lot, I remember when it was more like 12).

Haven't gotten around to trying out some of the previously non-working cores yet (TGBDual, FUSE, Cannonball), but I'm not holding my breath on those.

Does this mean that Cannonball is working?
    11. STLcardsWS
I am not sure about cannonball how well it runs.
You know how these official builds have been with cores./

I made a post yesterday that has all the cores from the official versionws of retroarch ps3.
You can see how things got a bit off track after v1.3 (missing cores / Additions of non working cores ect.. ).

My goal is to help get these official core list for the PS3 back in order. Its been way too long since it was a stable core list.

edit: (preview of a new table (thanks to @sandungas for the table design :) ))/ Almost have all the data added.

      Vice (c64 emulator) for VITA,but not for PS3? :-(
    13. JediKnight007
Cannonball and TGBDual still have their issues. Haven't bothered with FUSE - most likely it's more of the same.

The cheat system has been expanded - you can now search for and create your own cheats, in addition to loading them from CHT files.

Snes9x now supports BS-X and Sufami (spelling?) Turbo games (need BIOS for these - also ability to read Japanese would probably help, too :) ) Support might not be complete, however.

So by my count we have 3 official cores that do not work (the 3 above), 3 that were previously official, apparently work, but are MIA (MAME2003, mednafen_lynx, SuperGrafx), 1 that theoretically should work (MAME2003 Plus), and 1 that was never official but seems to work fine (FBA).

Try to load cheat files for genesis and snes but they do not work. Also have try to put screem shots and no good too. I'm on rebur 4.82.2. Any light to help this humble retro player?
Ps: Sorry for my bad english.
    16. STLcardsWS
Genesis_plus_gx supports RetroArch Cheats but does not support Native Cheats according to official docs.

      RetroArch Cheats
      Native Cheats

Are you trying to take a Screenshot , or add screenshots to game listings on the XMB?
    17. teco_rodrigues
I'm sorry, what's de diference between native an retroarch?
I have take the screenshot and configurate the path in options. Then I have instaled retroarch in pc and use the online updater o download cheats and icons, then transfered to ps3 and not worked either.
    18. JediKnight007
Yeah, I noticed cheats don't seem to work in this version (from a CHT file, tested with PrBoom core).
