    use that one and only that one. :)

    No not hardcoded, you can change it in the UI it self (Settings -> menu) or in the CFG file.
    CFG path:
    Code:
    menu_wallpaper = "/dev_hdd0/..............................................."
    But do not FTP the edited CFG file when RetroArch is running on your PS3, because when you quit it will overwrite settings (because that edited CFG was never loaded (as they will load on boot))

    I using exactly this version as organic giver to my mini project.

    This is not a theme, only a wallpaper. Themes are "monochrome", "flatui", "retroactive" etc. inside xmb dir ;)

    Sorry i thought you meant BG .. That can also be changed in the UI or CFG file.
    I The option is in Setting --> Menu .. (cant recall the option name, but the options will be those Options)

    As seen in my pics with the different icons that is how i changed them in the UI

    edit:

    Sorry, I should precise that I have in mind icons. Yep, this option doesn't work for me (even on "full" RetroArch).

    I can changing this setting but no reaction. There is always monochrome chosen, always I can browse other themes (even if I already deleted unneeded), and my theme doesn't appear on list (even if I replicate existing one but on new name). So that's why I assumed that paths and theme names are hardcoded. :(

    Are you selecting it, Then using Quit RetroArch in the UI (not XMB Quit)

    Give me a minute i'll play around

    Edit: works for me,
    Change the set in the UI and then move to Quit RetroArch, then open RetroArch up again and it should of changed.

    There is a Custom Option (so i assume we could add a Custom Icon set to the excitings (but how to name the folder "Custom" i guess) In my examples i just picked a set and overwrote those files, which those icon names would be hardcoded, but the Set Choice I thought was defined in the CFG file but i could not find any evidence when i just look , thought i see it there before, but maybe not.

    Works for me also when I quit via app. ;p I always using PS Button, also other options are saving in real time so I was thinking that this should behave the same (and reload them). ;p Thanks for help.

    Currently for testing purposes I working in monochrome dir but would be nice if I could use my own.

    Some changes need a restart, but yea if you quit via XMB the CFG file does not save.

    Ok, one more little things. :) Does screenshots taking, control remaping and cheats works? First two giving me: "save failed to", last doesn't show up in menu.

    Code:
    cheats = 1

    cheat0_desc = "Debug features. On 1st joypad: add energy (press Select); On 2nd joypad: add lives (press A+B); warp between checkpoints (D-Pad); complete stage (B); good ending (A+B on world map)."
    cheat0_code = "ZEETLZPS"
    cheat0_enable = "true"

    File have the same name as launching rom file (*.cht).

    Oh, and how can I read box game thumbnails in emu menu (or just this option also doesn't work)?

    BTW: ^^

    I do not think RetroArch screenshot features work in that build (I usually use XMB-in game)

    I do not think that is supported as it part of the database features. (not 100%)
    @Ezio would know more about that perhaps.

    Control mapping should work (cheats i am not sure havent used any, but i think so but again not sure)

    I use Retro XMB Creator (in aldostools collection or you can find the standalone version in our resource section)

    Also when using RetroXMB creator be sure to SAVE before making the pkg (as save will do the conversion to DDS)

    But I have already working manual. My problems is that psn_package_npdrm not adding "<GameID>/MANUAL/" to package during building process. ;]

    Okay so i think the way to proceed is to go with the Standalone NES version.
    Title ID: NESRETRO1

    Then all the RetroXMB pkg(s) can then use that as a piggyback for (thems/icons/shaders/bgs/ ect) that way its separate from RetroArch Official as editing these icons and such wont affect the official installation in anyway and would be independent.

    Which then if we use that Title ID i can start to build some of the RetroXMB packages (at least the base of them) and point the CFG file (in retroxmb pkgs) to the NES Standalone version. Then as RetroArch (ps3) progresses hopefully with database support we can update the standalone when that time comes and should be easy and work out well that way.
