So richdevx posted on his twitter that he has been able to use his custom board to bypass the memory card and is using a 4gb micro sd. it doesnt show any pinouts that he used but just a quick vid of the vita asking ro format the card. this is huge news and no one has commented. this means he was able to bypass the encryption on those overpriced p.o.s. memory cards. @bitsbubba didnt you get one of those testing boards from him? what are toir thoughts on this? are you able to reproduce his results qith your own card?

I bought 2 cards actually but haven't really any time to play around with them. I've been following his tweets also so it seems he's really close. I'd give him a few day to release all his findings as far as I can tell he's got one more step and then he's done it :)

sounds like what happened with the psp memory sticks. I'm using one of those dual adapters with 2 micro sd cards with mine. I've not had it fail on me yet. :) all my psp games total at around 47GBs, so I have to choose between either psp or vita games with my vita. I've chosen vita since I have a psp. I've only taken up about half a 64GB card thus far. my pstv has all my psp games on it. it's still on 3.20. I'll update it this weekend considering adrenaline was released. on a side note, one thing I hate about the psp is that it lists games by creation date instead of alphabetically. I have to use psp filter to modify the time stamps to alphabetize everything. does anyone know of a homebrew that can do this automatically?

I've done no mods with the vita, so I actually don't know aside from psp filter.

Categories lite was all i knew of as far as that goes pinky if you are looking for an automaric solution. if you are anal like me you just decide what you plan to put on the memory stick and load them so they are in alphabetical order. i think you start backwards if i remeber correctly. from z to a, not a to z. been awhile. i also have about 10 of those photofast adapters laying around. found a deal on ebay, and bought all 10 of em, most are still boxed.

I actually have categories lite installed. all u can do is create categories for the various games/apps while not being able to alphabetize them. there was an app that could do this, but I've never been able to find it again and I've forgotten the name. it can alphabetize things like psp filter, but it doesn't do it automatically. u can just select move up/down on each game/app to alphabetize them. the app's main function, however, is not that. the alphabetizing from z to a or a to z is reflected by - and + respectively, so those r probably capable of being altered. I prefer A to Z personally.

    Well when i originally bought them i had 1(3.61) psvita and 2(3.20-3.50) pstv's, now i have 2(3.63-3.60) psvita's and 3(3.20-3.50-3.60) pstv's

I might be willing to part with one though i have to look for them(in my mess of a tech room), bought in advance of any real info but know something was going to come of the research.

Yeah I got that out of our interaction, Sucks when ppl don't share R&D with community. A little here and a little there makes for a better understanding and control over our devices and in turn our life :)

It was a great little project I didn't really see what the accomplishment was as all he really did was move the 2 microSD cards to the inside of the case to where if either card failed he'd have to open the case. making MC slot useless
