In my opinion if you mod online you earn the ban, nobody wants to play against a cheater.

Your better of looking on console crunch for stuff like that NGU is crap. That's were I look for stuff like that, also modding in public looby's is going to get loads of people hitting the report button and drawing attention to you, increasing the chance you will be flagged for the servers.

Modding in Private matches with friends is the only way to mod online as far as I am concerned, that way it isn't spoiling other peoples online gaming in the public lobby's. still a risk of getting banned though.

Go for NoMod, it's clean and undetectable.

Pros: No ban ever and everyone gets the same benefits in game.

    Cons: you can't cheat.

Sadly, i tend to think thats an utopy
Anyway, by doing that you could improve your player stats by cheating, which is unfair

The safest way to mod online to to play the game yourself while online, If you piss somebody off then they can easily report you which will put you at high risk. You can try whatever known method to minimize the risk however it's not 100% safe..

I haven't been banned since 2013. And the last game that got me banned was Black Ops 2 while back on Rogero 4.30.

You can use mods and still achieve fair play. WaW on the Wii (Yes I Know, the controls were awful and it never compared to other systems), didn't include several game modes and maps that the other console versions of the game did. I was really ticked off that I couldn't play SnD or Zombies and had less maps on that system than on my others. However, those modes and maps eventually got ported to the Wii version using mods and patches. I was running public lobbies for people just so they could experience the full product of a game that they spent the same amount of money on. I work at a video game store and I told my boss about this experience and he said it was wrong of me to do that when the company never intended to have those parts of the game in that version. I think it was wrong of Activision and the other publishers to charge the same amount of money for half of the original game. I can say through my experience that you can mod and still have a fair game that's fun for everybody. Plus most people are grateful for money and XP lobbies, but yes any form of modding will get you banned if it's detected. Nintendo's never banned on Wii as far as I know. They never updated/patched games, released DLC, or did any upkeep on servers. Their newer systems were a lot more protected but still just as easy to mod. The Switch will ban you immediately the minute you go online with any form of homebrew in your system history files/logs. There is no way to unban a Switch just yet, if ever. Sorry for the essay.

    In short:
Fair modding is possible. Any modding fair or not, will get you banned as soon as it's detected. There are people that are grateful for hax though, and I was still happy when people finished a game with a 50/0 K/D as long as I got max prestige/level, and some fun infections throughout the game.
