PSP should i update my firmware psp slim

    ok so today i bought a white vader PSP 2001 and it came with CFW 5.00 m33-6 ive never had a PSP lower than 6.60 should i upgrade my CFW or no will be running iso's off my sd card adapter

    edit if you think i should upgrade my firmware please tell me why you think i should do so i also plan to run a few homebrew but will mainly be running ISO's of psp games

    I'd update to 6.60pro/lme\me, since with 6.61, many plugins don't work. you can also spoof the system via the recovery menu.. you can toggle between cfw and official firmware. that's how I have mine set up. there's a homebrew that will tell you which firmware is needed with which game.

    copy and paste this:

    release:6.61:
    build:4047,0,3,1,0:[email protected]
    system:[email protected]_661,0x06070010:
    vsh:[email protected]_661,[email protected]_661,20091118:
    target:1:WorldWide

    then save it as version..txt. drop that into the seplugins directory.. after that, enable version spoofing in the recovery menu.
