Hello psx-place users! Today I (@clayson) present to you the MSF Converter which supports converting .wav/.xwm files to .msf, .msf is an audio format used in some games such as Skyrim (so yes, this can be used to convert .wav/.xwm to .msf for Skyrim and it will work). There are still plenty of features I plan on adding to this tool, but the base tool is complete and works quite well according to testers.

- Can convert .wav/.xwm to .msf .
- Has abilities to search entire directories or add single .wav file(s).
- Has many advanced options for .msf including looping options.
- Nice conversion log with ability to save conversion log.
- Uses templates so you can share .msf creation templates with other people to make everything easier.
Disclaimer: Do not re-upload my work anywhere without my permission first, also please do not use any of the resources in this program without my permission, thank you.
[Q] Some of my .wav files have not converted to .msf!
- [A] Check the conversion log, sometimes there is problems with .wav files.
[Q] How can I re-create a game's .msf file?
- [A] At the moment my tool cannot detect this, however it's a planned feature. If you would like you can send me a .msf and I will find out it's properties and then create a template.
[Q] Why can't I modify the bitrate of my MP3 output .msf files? Can you allow me to?
- [A] You cannot modify bitrate because it messes with how templates work (will work on fixing this), however if you MUST modify the bitrates I can create a special version of my .exe for you (no "Save Template" button though).
- More settings including setting to backup .wav files.
- More MSF options if needed by users.
- Ability to modify MP3 .msf bitrate and highest bitrate (read FAQ if you want to know why it's not possible right now).
- Error instantly notifies user and is easy for you to see.
- Ability to drag and drop MSF Templates or .wav files.
@clayson (Created the main "MSF Converter.exe")
valentinbreiz (Helped me code "MSF Converter.exe")
tiroden (Created the icon used in this tool.)
If you contributed and I forgot to credit you please let me know and I can fix that, thanks!
Keep in mind this tool is in it's early stages so if you mess with its files expect the tool to show off errors, if you find bugs report it to me via PM or on Discord thank you.

Advanced Power Options (v1.10) Released: A XMB MOD for all CFW & HENA handy XMB (main menu) modification for the PlayStation 3 that is now compatible with either CFW (Custom FirmWare) or HEN (Homebrew ENabler) has been updated to v1.10 with a new name as well. This project has seen contributions from various developer's that include @DeViL303, @kozarovv, @mysis @Joonie and @lmn7 and collectively have created Advance Power Options (v1.10). This sleek mod allows for additional Power Options to be displayed and executed with ease from the comfort of the XMB. The new inclusions for your XMB will include a fast Shut Down (no conformation is asked), A Soft Reboot (a faster reboot, doesn't completely shutdown system) or a Hard Reboot (which shuts down slower, as it's a complete system restart). Plus, the mod provides a few additional Advanced Options and these include the ability to Reboot in Recovery Mode (which can be a handy feature, as the official method from Sony involves a process of holding the power button down on your console for awhile), If you desire even faster access to a few functions within the Recovery Mode the devs have you covered here as well as there is options to Rebuild Database or Check the File-System on reboot by selection those included options on the XMB as well. For HEN user's that about sums up things, but CFW user's you have one more additional function which is optional but Also included is an optional pkg to Boot into OtherOS. Overall, this is a great collection of work and a superb modification for your PS3's XMB to add new functionality. View a preview of this mod before installing it, by checking out the developer's YouTube video included below (video coverage is of v1.04) to get an idea of what this mod is all about for CFW and now HEN user's also. RPCS3 (PS3 Emulator) - June 2019 Progress Report - Unlockable Framerates above >30 FPSEmulating Home Console Game Titles has many Advantages when they work properly. Optimizing the Output Resolution is one thing. But many Game Titles - especially for the PS3 - where designed to run with 30 Frames-per-Second (FPS) only on Original Hardware. Some Games have even a "cap" which doesn't allow the Game to exceed that Frame Limit even if it could or other Games can't even get to the 30 FPS mark due to bad Gaming Design or tremendous of Game Files, which needs to be loaded in the Background and the Console can't even achieve that due to slow Hardware. Best Example, if you ever played the "Bayonetta Series" on your PS3 (I really hope you didn't ), then you will know what I mean. But luckily, with the help of the famous PS3 Emulator RPCS3 and it's newest Updates and Recent Changes, this problematic could be lead into a thing to the past for several Game Titles. This will lead many Classic Titles like the "Uncharted Series", "The Last of Us" or "Red Dead Redemption" into a even better Gameplay as you enjoyed them on your original PS3, where those mentioned Game Titles already showed impressive results, as you can check in the video down below.. And the cool thing is, everyone is welcome to contribute their test results here. So you know which Homework I will give you know today, right? Continue reading
