that's pretty sad. I'm on that firmware, but I still plan to go legit, 'cause I won't play any games on the system otherwise. however, my first switch died for unexplained reasons. the irony is that if I had hacked the thing I could've backed up my saves. :-/ if my new switch dies, I'm officially done with Nintendo.

    edit: btw, https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultr...543079727&sr=1-1&keywords=400GB+micro+sd+card

that was on sale for black Friday at $79.99 on both amazon and best buy. best buy sold out almost instantly. I think I managed to get it from amazon (not sure). they took the money out; I had bought the same card from newegg last week for $109, so I plan to return it with their extended, holiday warranty (January 31st 2019 if bought from November 1st up to December sometime I think). that card is in my switch atm. :D

now, this is outrageous! newegg charges a $16 restocking fee on top of a $9 shipping fee for my return of that 400GB micro sd card. I might as well sell it on ebay then. :-/ it's unopened btw.

apparently, 11.9 has been released for the 3ds, so Nintendo is still at it with stability checks. I'm sitting comfortably on 11.7 (downgraded from 11.8). I've actually made a NAND backup of every flash since 11.3. :D

oh, and I managed to sell that second micro-SD card for $101 when I bought it for $79.99. :) I have a second one in my switch. I had hoped to go all digital like I did with the wii u, but after having my original system break for unknown reasons, I've decided against that. if this one breaks, I'm done with Nintendo. I can't risk losing a lot of money if that happens. ;)

never used a mirco sd card with the ps2. I do have a flash drive, which is 513MBs (lol), for the ps2. I've had some issues with larger micro sd cards on the 3ds. Nintendo's official page says "up to 32GBs" while I've been using 128GBs. beyond 32GBs, the system gets sluggish on the home menu. that's as per my experience. my micro sd card is nearly full if that makes a difference. :-p
