hello. I'm thinking about collecting the controllers for the switch. I've done this with the wii motes (have around 9), all of the gamecube controller attratchet, and both the white pro controllers on the wii u. now, I already own the normal black/silver.controller. I bought a smash bros. pro controller. I already owned there's the grey controller, the splatoon 2 controller, and the xenoblade chronicles 2;. I might use the last one for when I go through the game. are these the only four pro controllers for the switch?

Those will come out pretty soon, I'd like to see how good they are.

hmm. I have a blue wii mote, but it isn't quite the same hue.

as you probably know, the dpad for that controller sucks. I had heard that it's been rectified with the special controllers. I believe the system can have up to 8 controllers, so being able to sync all of them would be ideal. :D

So far I have above models and they seem to be ok :) I got them for pretty good deal.

    like $25 each.

aren't those wired? I believe I read something about there not being an official pro controller outside of Nintendo's.

They are completely wireless and get recognized as Pro controllers. USB-C charging supported.

thanks. for the most part, I haven't had many problems with the normal controller, but I've had many bugs with xenoblade chronicles 2. that was before updating to 1.00+. strangely, I haven't heard anyone complain about the same thing.

here's where I bought my smash bros. ultimate pro controller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-S...var=532523359440&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

I wanted to buy an American one, but there's some ambiguity about whether or not I'll receive a European/Japan one instead. just like with amiibos, NOA short changed us yet again at least the NES/SNES classic were rereleased. I actually bought an NES classic, and I should get an SNES classic in a day or two.

anyway., I'm pretty sure a Japanese pro controller will work with an American console. strange thing is that with the Wii U, the gamepad itself is region locked, but the wii motes are not.

@Joonie , I have the entire collection of character controllers for the wii. I'm not entirely sure which are Japan only. I think the Bowser one is. what's funny is that the Japanese controllers' tabs are just folded in instead of glued like an American controller. it's as if Nintendo assumed Americans are more liable to steal the controller. lol!

I now own 3 Japanese controllers (brawl, splatoon 2, and xenoblade chronicles 2). I'm not sure, but I may have all of the officially released pro controllers. no issues. they all work with an American system. finding an American controller is hard as hell. I know that the brawl one was released with the game as a bundle. the gcu at best buy worked with it too. ;)
