So we have been able to make ARK PS1 bubbles for a while now but that also means no audio. But developer TheFlow seems to have made bubbles that take advantage of the native PS1 emulator inside the Vita instead of relying upon ePSP CFW to boot them. The Git much like the PS3 slims is missing hardware needed to emulate PS1 games from inside the PSP EMU. Sony has two emulators one for PSP & one for PS1 to make up for the missing hardware. TN was able to hijack this EMU with help from qwik and Acid to make TN-X but after qwik leaked everything the day the Vita scene imploded he left the scene with his closed source work. So if you are able to help with PS1 and ePSP/ePS1 emulation hit him up on twitter so we can see this sooner then later. Also seems Rejuvenate will be a must for this exploit.
Well its official PS1 bubbles with full sound support for all firmwares with a working kxploit. This means 3.55 and lower can all enjoy this. Till 3.57 has a working kxploit it is left out in the cold. And since all previously ePSP devs have went dark we wait for either the return of qwik, Acid or even TN but I wouldn't hold my breath for any but maybe qwik. He has an unreleased kxploit but hasn't been online in months as he has very limited internet access. This means no need to stay on 3.18/3.20 just for TN-X support. But if you want PKG manager stay there or if you don't care and want easier custom themes going to 3.36 is possible
I've merely only tested tn-x to see if it would be which it did. ps1 game support isn't that important to me with a modified ps2 and ps3, but pkg installer support is a must, so I'll be staying on 3.20 with my pstv. themes rn't much of an issue since ur replacing the native icons much like the icontex mod of the ps3 but much easier.
Well TN-X doesn't work if you have Bubble Blower installed so you will not miss anything as the save files conflict. The older TN-X v1 BETA works with Bubble Blower installed which also has INSTALL.ZIP support and FTP so ARK or TNV isn't needed but lacks PSTV support.
I have bubble blower installed, but I tested tn-x before installing it. it's installed through xs moto as u know. that's odd the save files conflict. tn-x v1 beta doesn't work with the pstv? I know the normal one does as I tested it on my pstv since my vita is on newer firmware just to download borderlands 2 since I have the bundle and didn't know anything about the vita at the time. it might be worth using these bubbles with my "metal slime" vita though.
