UPDATE (March 27th, '20) - Another New Video Released >>> The next PS3 NVidia RSX accelerated steps
(Original Article from Nov. 14) Is the PS3 a bit closer to gaining Hardware Acceleration (via RSX) in OtherOS (Linux) with a proper driver to enable the GPU chip? We are not there, but we may be getting closer to a reality. Earlier this year (back in April) we detailed some of the progress that the busy dev RenéRebe has made with unlocking the potential of the PlayStation 3's RSX chip and now today we have been greeted with a new video and what we can expect with this project as the developer starts to undertake the challenge of further unlocking one more component of the Ps3 hardware,. The developer has alot of videos on other intresting subjects in his diverse YouTube channel >>> (Bits and More) <<< many very informative video's..

This man won't get tired :) Here is another Livestream

@STLcardsWS - I think we need to create a new Thread. I got the Error already yesterday that I'm not allowed to post more than 10 Embedded YouTube Videos on the Main News Page. :(

Yea in the future we can start a new thread.
I can change the amount of video's allowed but some systems it can cause lag having so many videos on one page. So prefer not to do that i ran into same issue on my last update and the oldest video i reverted to a standard text link. So that is one way to get around it for a quick update.
    12. Roxanne
Yes I allowed to myself to edit the "November Videos" into Standard Text Links so we can add newer Videos again.

Im not sure when, but there is going to be a point of his work when is going to be needed to make a new thread, at the release of his first "T2 PS3" ISO
For that you can prepare some image with the linux penguin and a cd-rom or something like that (im just suggesting a very basic design concept, be creative, heheh)

Some weeks ago i thought he was going to release an ISO when he updated the linux kernel and compiled the latest T2 for first time (as a base to start working in RSX), but as far i remember he didnt released an ISO with that "milestone" of his work

So... i dont know, but if at some point he releases an ISO is going to need a dedicated new/thread

It seems that he has still problems with his new streaming Hardware. Therefore he released 3 new Videos today, which all of them are now added to the Main News Thread!

      Aaaaand another Livestream :)

There are more than 2 months without any other update from RSX Acceleration.

Does project been abandoned from Rene side ?
    18. Anthonyy817
Lol, no it isn't abandoned, you need to learn to be a bit more patient. Remember, the man does this for free, and he would work faster with donations to his Patreon I am sure. He is trying to supplement his channel with more videos to try and bring in more revenue.

Those kind of projects take time - especially when you have to maneuver between work, personal life, free time, and even taking care of your family,
Or maybe you are not up to it today,
      maybe you want a break,whether it's a long or a short one.
